What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Warriors!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also enjoying the Splinterlands in meantime. Right now we are at the middle of this season with only 6 days and 22 hours left for this current season to end. So I must reach diamond I soon and stay there for more quest reward chests. But, the competition seems like harder than ever these days and I am missing some important cards as well. But, I hope when a good number of people jump upwards to the Champ tier, the competition in Diamond will decrease by a bit.

On the other hand, as I told I am accumulating Vouchers for the upcoming SPS validator node sale, the journey is going very well and I have successfully collected a total 500 from the hive-engine market. I am using all my current earning after this and also started powering down my sps of which the first instalment came today. I used some of it to buy the remaining of vouchers that I was missing, and now will accumulate 1000$ of SPS to be ready for the sale. Some are saying that the SPS value will drop on the sale day and it would take certainly more sps to fill the 1000$ limit. So, it will be wise to hold some more SPS in hand before sale just be safe from going below threshold.

DJINN MUIRAT

image.png

Now, let us move towards our main theme of this post as today I am going to showcase another powerful Chaos monster with you all and this time I have chosen the DJINN MUIRAT!

image.png

Djinn Muirat Is a legendary type chaos monster that belongs to the death unit. It costs Nine Mana to be used in the battlefield and its attack type is magic. It’s well crafted armour limits enemy magic attacks to damage it’s health while its brutal magic attack against big mana monsters is also hard to neglect. Let us now take a deeper look at it’s overall stats and abilities tier-wise to find out more about this card.

Bronze

At level 1, this card possesses 2 magic attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 7 health along with 2 abilities - Void Armour and Knock Out. Because if the void armour ability, magic attacks will hit it’s armour first, before reaching for the health whereas with the Knock Out ability, it will do double damage to stunned enemy cards.

Silver

At level 2, this card possesses 2 magic attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 8 health and also gets another ability - Giant killer. Because of this particular ability, it will now do double damage to enemy cards which costs 10 or more mana.

Gold

At level 3, this card gets 3 magic attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 8 health along with a new ability - magic reflect. The magic Reflect ability will return damage when an enemy magic cards hit this card.

Diamond/Champion

At level 4, this card gets 3 magic attack at 2 speed with 4 armour and 8 health and also gets another ability - Forcefield. Because of this ability, it will now receive only 1 damage from enemy attacks of power 5 or above.

Important points about DJINN MUIRAT

  • The main aspect that I like of the Muirat is it’s void armour + magic Reflect ability combo that gets very beneficial against magic monsters. While the void armour ability will protect it’s health from magic attacks, the magic reflect ability will continue attacking back enemy magic throwers with reduced damage whenever it gets hit.
  • The Giant killer ability can also be considered at big mana limit matches where you get certain that the opponent will use use at least one or 2 monsters of 10 or more mana cost. You can use cards with Stun ability in your lineup to help it’s Knock Out ability gets unlocked.
  • I also liked it’s forcefield ability very much and often use this minster at my rear place in lineup to counter Sand Worm attacks. But the forcefield ability is useless against attacks of 4 or less. You can also use muirat at front place to counter 5+ attacks with it’s forcefield as well.
  • It’s high 9 mana cost limits its usage in medium and low mana limit matches. So, try to use it only in big mana limit matches.
  • Lastly, Because of It’s low speed even in max level, it will attack later. thus in certain matches where speed is important, this monsters falls behind.

Market Stat

image.png

Djinn Muirat is currently being sold in the splinterlands market for only 7.36$ per BCX and onwards and will cost you from 4,474.77 DEC approx.

Battle Line-up

image.png

image.png

Battle Link: Click here

mana Cap: 54

Splinters allowed: Fire, Life and Death.

Ruleset:

  • Odd Ones Out - Only Monsters with odd mana cost can be used in this battle.

LORD OF DARKNESS

image.png

I chose the LOD at the first position of my lineup and mainly because if it’s Though physics and deadly melee attacks with retaliate. I am using a level 4 in here and it has 4 melee attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 10 health along with 4 abilities - Enrage, Stun, Shield and Retaliate. The retaliate + Stun ability can wound or kill multiple enemies or keep then numb until the next round whereas the Stun ability will also help the Muirat to perform some Knock Out if luck supports.

LIFE SAPPER

image.png

I chose the life sapper at the second place of my line up and mainly because of its life Leech and redemption ability, along with a decent magic attack. I am using a level eight in here and it has two magic attack at four speed with four health along with those two abilities that I mentioned above. when the LOD dies, it will come at front and I guess it collects enough health by then, Or in worst case scenario, the redemption ability will help me reduce 1 health/armour each of them all enemy cards.

GOBLIN CHARIOT

image.png

I choose the goblin chariot at the third place of my line up and mainly because of its high powered range attack along with piercing ability. I am using a level eight in here and it possesses four range attack at four speed with seven health - along with the piercing ability. As the piercing ability enables it to damage with its excess attack whenever it breaks an armour, that will help me kill enemy cards faster.

SOUL STRANGLER

image.png

I choose the soul strangler at the fourth place of my Lineup and mainly because of its high-powered range attack at low mana cost. I am using a level eight in here and it has four range attack at three speed with four health along with the poison ability. Thou I had enough mana to use, the Odd ruleset was allowing me to select only a dew number of archers. As I was looking for a good attacker, Soul Strangler snatched my eyes with it’s 4 range attack and posion.

DHAMPIR STALKER

image.png

I selected the Dhampir Stalker At the fifth position of my lineup and mainly because of its high-powered range attack with true strike ability. With the True Strike ability, this card simply cannot miss it’s attack and with the Deathblow ability which it also possesses, it will do 2x damage if there is only 1 monster left at enemy side. I am using a level eight in here and it has five range attack at four speed with seven health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above.

DJINN MUIRAT

image.png

I chose the Djinn Muirat had the last place of my lineup mainly to encounter sand worm attacks with its forcefield ability (if the enemy is using it) while damaging the enemy cards with its decent magic attack. I am using a level four in here and it has three magic attack at two speed with four armour and eight health along with five abilities - void armour, knock out, giant killer, magic reflect and forcefield.

Match Result

image.png

As it was a large mana limit match, I found it suitable To use the Djinn in this match. the ruleset was odd ones out this time, so I had to rely upon only odd mana cost cards. Because of the mana limit, I went for those highest mana cost Monsters first and chose LOD at front and Stalker and Djinn at the end. As the match got revealed, I found out that my opponent has used fire legendary Summoner upon me and he has come with heavy defence with Lord Arihanthus at front, followed by 3 melee monsters Hydra, Serpentine Soldier and Molten Orge while Sand worm and Fire Elemental at the back side.

image.png

As the first round started, the enemy fire elemental attacked first and damaged both my LOD and life Sapper, but it also enabled the enrage ability of LOD. The LOD attacked next and damaged the enemy Lord followed by the enemy send warm attack upon my decision but as I planned the forcefield ability of Djinn countered That attack very well with only one damage received next the life super attacked and damaged the Lord again followed by both of my archers goblin chariot and Dhampir stalker who together killed down the Lord who is there deadly range attacks. Next, the soul strangler attacked the hydra followed by that the genes attack who is further damaged down the hydra is health to 3 and the round one ended here.

image.png

As the second round started, the fire elemental again attacked the first and damaged both my LOD and life Sapper And my LOD got left with only five health and my life sappar with 2. Next, the hydra attacked and broke down the shield armour from my LOD but my LOD attacked next and killed down the wounded hydra with its enraged Melee attack. But, before dying, the hydra damaged my LOD hard with its Thorns and retaliate and left my LOD with only one health remaining. The serpentine soldier came at the front place of enemy lineup and then the sand worm again attacked my Djinn but the Djinn took only one damage again and remained with two more armour even after countering two attacks from the sand worm. My Life Sapper attacked next and damaged the soldiers health down to 5, followed by my goblin chariot’s attack but this time, it missed its target upon the soldier. then, my other deadly archer Dhampir stalker attacked and broke down the armour of the soldier, followed by my soul Stranglers attack which damaged the soldiers health down to 3 and also applied the poison upon it.

image.png

At the beginning of round three, the molten orge came at the front position of the enemy lineup, standing against the wounded LOD which only has one has left. as the round started, the fire elemental again attacked the first and killed the LOD and also damaged my life Sapper’s health down to 2. Then, the sand worm attacked and again failed to damage my Djinn Muirat More than 1. Next both my goblin chariot and Dhampir stalker attacked again and together they brought down the molten orge’s health to 2. But then the wounded Molten Orge started his turn and killed the Life sapper and thus, its trample got enabled and it launched another attack and killed my goblin chariot. But then, my djinns launched its magic attack and killed the wounded Molten Orge and the sand worm came at front and the round ended here.

image.png

As the round four started, the fire elemental again attacked the first and damaged both my soul strangler and Dhampir Stalker, followed by the enemy Sand worm’s attack, which killed down my soul Strangler. My djinn attacked at last and brought the sand worm’s held down to 3 and the fourth level ended here.

image.png

As the around five started, the enemy fire elemental again attacked the first and brought down the stalkers health down to 3, and also took away the shield from my Djinn with its blast, but the magic reflect ability of Djinn attacked back and damaged the fire elemental’s health down to 6. Then, the sand worm attacked my wounded stalker and killed it down, followed by my Djinn’s attack which in return killed down the wounded sand worm and the round ended here.

image.png

From round six, it was a pretty one versus one match between the fire elemental and my Djinn and both of them attack with magic and also possess the magic reflect ability. so, the game gets more intense from here. however, the fire elemental attacked the first and wounded My Djinn health down to 5, but also receivedagic reflect damage. then, my djinn attacked the fire elemental and brought its head down to one, but also received magic reflect damage which decreasd its health down to 4 and the round ended here.

image.png

At around seven, started the enemy fire elemental again attacked at first and damaged my Djinn Muirat’s health down to 2, but thankfully the magic reflect of my Djinn attacked the fire elemental back and took away its remaining one health from it and thus, I win this match and got me a little trophy push towards diamond I.

In this match, though the enemy fire elemental was dominating the whole match since round one, but at last, it got caught to my djinn Muirat, thank to the muirat’s magic reflect ability. On the other hand, the Muirat handled multiple gigantic melee attacks from the enemy Sand Worm and only received 1 damage each time against it’s 8 melee attack, or otherwise the Sand Worm would have killed my rear cards one by one. So clearly, Djinn muirat helped me a lot in this particular match.

Let me know your experience and feeling about this awesome Djinn Muirat and if this card is a must-have in your collection, and I will be seeing you all in my next post!

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.

Hes a great card in the second spot, can still dps (even though slow) and hopefully by time he is in spot one the opponent has been sufficiently softened up! Love his armour, love his health pool great versatile card in moderate to high mana games!
