Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
Zyrx the Emberglace is a powerful legendary Dragon card in the Conclave Arcana set and released as the first Conflict reward card for that edition. It is considered one of the strongest dragon cards because it combines both melee and magic attacks with aggressive abilities that scale during battle. The only thing holding it back is the Incendiary debilitation but with the right card combo, even a debilitation can be a source of strength.

Zyrx the Emberglace is a terrifying hybrid born from both fire and water dragons. Crackling with lightning and having both heat and cold, she became a living weapon after striking a deal with Portia Nyr to aid the Conclave Arcana’s expeditions across Praetoria. Wherever she flies, destruction follows. She threatens to wipe out the Riftwatchers and their allies in ash and ice.

Zyrx the Emberglace is a powerful offensive tank in early levels. At level one she deals dual damage of two magic and five melee. She also has four speed and ten health as well as the Flying ability and Incendiary debilitation. At maxed levels most of her stats does not get levelled up but her armor does which goes up to seven, making her a strong tank as her flying ability is also complemented by her speed, giving her a high chance to evade physical attacks. She gains more abilities as she levels up like Charge that allows her to use melee attack from afar. Execute and Bloodlust are highly offensive abilities that will make her deadly at maxed levels.
I was eyeing a level one Zyrx on the market that was on sale for $2.70. It would have been a nice addition to my deck but suddenly somebody bought a lot of copies and now the price of Zyrx has gone up to $6. One should not really hesitate when he sees a great deal.

This battle shows how destructive Zyrx can be given ruleset and paired with the fearsome dragon archon, Nidhoggr. The ruleset included Bloodmoon, giving all units the Bloodlust ability. Player Lilipeas had Zyrx in first position. He was given Blast by Nidhoggr, further increasing his damage potential. In second position, he had Torrent Sniper, a unit with Painforge ability that enables him to increase his power when hit by an ally. He's the perfect combo to Zyrx. Other units were all magic damage dealers. His hapless enemy had a strong magic team but that was no match for Lilipeas's team and was destroyed quickly.
On the other hand, having strong cards doesn't guarantee a win. This is what makes Splinterlands a fun and exciting game. Given the right cards and combinations, you can beat stronger teams.

In this battle, my plan was to meet the strong dragon with three defensive tanks while my back line does the damage. I had Doomshield Warden, Warborn Chieftain and Ulundin Overseer play tank while my high damage dealers do their job in the back. My three tanks got defeated but my team was also able to defeat Zyrx at the same time.

I had the better units in the three against three match up as my units dealt more damage and soon won the battle.
