The Ujurak Brave is a common reward card from the Rebellion reward set. It's a six mana melee unit that belongs to the Death Splinter. He is best known for his reliability and resistance to status effects. In today's post, well dive into his lore, stats & abilities and show one of my battles where he's used effectively.

Lore

The Ujurak Brave are a resilient race in the face of oppression. After the Panopian tribes settled in resource rich Praetoria, the invading Chaos Empire conquered their lands, wealth and people. Many Ujurak warriors were forced into military service. The braves were are compelled to enforce the empire's brutal rule in distant regions like Feranon and Stonetown. Although they were struggling, they refuse to surrender to despair. They hope for rebellion and dreaming of the day they can overthrow the empire and return home to rebuild their lives.

Stats and Abilities

The Ujurak Brave is a six mana common card of the Death splinter. At maxed levels he deals three melee damage and has three speed. On defense he has four armor and nine health. He only has two abilities but they are very useful. He has Immunity starting from level one. This makes him a great card to play in Noxious Fumes rulesets. At level four he gets the Silence ability, debuffing the enemy's magic attacks.

My Ujurak Brave is at level five and has both abilities. I use him as a low mana tank in my battles.

Featured Battle

In this battle, the Ujurak Brave was my tank followed by my Death magic team that I posted before. He is an effective defensive tank that debuffs the enemy's magic attackers.

Consequently, the enemy had the same set up, an Ujurak Brave tank followed by magic damage dealers. The battle was decided because my archon and Sorrow Harvester reduced the enemy's health by two. Also, I had the faster team, having two units with the Swiftness ability. I also had the advantage of having a healer, the Arachne Weaver, that sustained my team from injuries.

Replay the Battle

I regularly use this team composition in my battles. A second battle showcasing the Ujurak Brave and my magic damage dealers. This time the enemy had a Life splinter team.

The team set up by my opponent is great against physical attackers because it takes advantage of the Ulund's bloodline ability, Shield. Since I used magic attacks, the Shield gives my enemy no advantage.

Final Thoughts

The Ujurak Brave is a specialized but highly effective tank. It may not have a high attack or possess many abilities, but he has sufficient defense and magic debuffs. Further, he shines in poison battles. He is an underrated but reliable card.
