Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome by to my blog!
The Sacrosanct Shanker is a four mana tank in the Earth splinter from the core Conclave Arcana set. It's an ideal card to play as a tank in low mana battles and Little League ruleset. In today's post, we'll do a deep dive into this card. We'll check out her lore, stats & abilities and show a sample battle where she is used effectively.

Arila Maelanoril (Sacrosanct Shanker) is a priestess of Serathera, Goddess of the Wilderness and a deadly assassin. In Thanaloria’s courts she is feared as a killer while maintaining her devotion to her goddess. She protects Rathlorien Silverleaf’s family through both prayers and lethal force when necessary.
Now, she joins Kaylia’s (Earth archon) army to stop Mahkah Hemlig from invading their forest in the Conclave Arcana’s pursuit of Praetoria’s secrets.

The Sacrosanct Shanker is a four mana, rare melee card. At maxed levels she deals three melee damage and has four speed. On defense, she has four armor and seven health. She an offensive ability, Cripple and a couple of abilities for sustainability. Rebirth allows her to self resurrect once in battle while Divine Shield enables her to ignore damage from first attack. Since she is an elf, she benefits from the Earth archon's Bloodline Dominion ability, Execute.
She is a good low mana tank especially at higher levels. Unfortunately for Silver level players, her attack is rather limited but her defensive stats is good enough for a low mana tank even at Silver League.

The battle had a mana cap limit of twenty three. Player Charok had the Earth splinter led by Kaylia Silverleaf archon. It's a low mana battle so he had a level four Sacrosanct Shanker at tank. In second position was another elf, legendary card Taye Loreswift. She increases melee attack with her Inspire ability and has the Reach ability to enable her to attack with melee from second position. In third was a one mana card, Halfling Refugee. In fourth was another elven melee card, Thanalorian Blade who deals two melee damage and had the Opportunity ability. In last position was another melee card, Buttercup Mauler.
His enemy chose Water led by legendary archon Loving the Moo. He had a low mana dual tank combo followed by magic damage dealers. He's at a disadvantage owing to his lower damage output compared to Charok's team. Charok also had the better synergy with an all melee team buffed by Taye Loreswift's Inspire. These advantages led to Charok winning this battle.
