Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just concluded our latest brawl. We had a good brawl this week ending in fifth place. Last week we were in fourth place and this week's finish is not bad at fifth. In today’s post, I’ll break down our overall results, highlight my personal performance, and showcase one of my favorite battles.

Our brawl are getting better. Last week we were fourth, this week are in fifth, indicating that our score is getting consistent. This is the performance I'm wishing for our guild and now we're showing good results.

My personal brawl performance was also consistent. Same as last week, I won seven battles and only lost two. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 4.5k merits and 60 SPS. It's a huge chunk of my weekly SPS earnings so I make it a point to join brawls.

I liked this battle because the enemy team prevented us from using Quora. In lieu of Quora, I used my other favorite gladiator card, Fina Voxom. It's a bonus that she's an elf. This means she gets the powerful Execute ability to add to her already deadly set of abilities. My team was composed of the following.
Quilliun Legionary is my best non melee tank. He has decent attack and defense. What makes him special are his abilities that defend him against melee and magic attacks. He has Thorns that returns damage to melee attackers and Void that decrease magic attacks.
Forlorn Geomant deals a huge five magic damage. That reason alone makes him a valuable member of my team and has a spot when the mana allows it. His disadvantage is his huge mana cost making him inefficient to use in low mana battles.
Grove Doomblade deals five melee damage and has Stun and Sneak abilities, among others. She also gains the Execute ability being of the elven race.
Fina Voxom is a feared damage dealer. She has four attack and four speed. What makes her deadly is her combination of Opportunity and Bloodlust abilities. She hunts down the enemy's low health units and will likely defeat them triggering her bloodlust.
Living Berm deals four range damage and has the Decoy ability, giving my team another Taunt unit though it only works against certain units.
Silverleaf Mage is my Taunt unit to draw attacks away from my tank and rear units. She has excellent health to absorb damage while she also does three range attack of her own.
The enemy also had the Earth splinter and Quora by his side. He has similar units as mine like Forlorn Geomant, Grove Doomblade and Silverleaf Mage. He made the first kill, immediately defeating my Silverleaf Mage but my team rallied and decimated the enemy team.
