Our guild has just finished our recent brawl. We finished in eighth place this week, it was less than stellar and not our best performance. In today’s post, I’ll break down our overall results, highlight my personal performance, and showcase one of my favorite battles.

Guild Rank and Personal Performance

Our performance was not good in this week's brawl compared to last week. We finished in eighth place compared to last week's fifth place, putting us in the bottom of the standings. We won sixty two battles and and lost ninety eight, a less than fifty per cent result. There were a lot of room for improvement that we should look into as a guild.

My own performance was not as good compared to previous brawl. I won four battles out of eight for a fifty per cent win rate. Inspite of our bad brawl results, we still earned 4.1k merits and 42 SPS. It's still a decent reward for playing brawls.

Featured Battle

The battle included Equalizer and Shades of Grey rulesets. I chose the Earth archon Kaylia Silverleaf who grants the Execute ability to elves as well as debuff the enemy's magic attacks. Since this is an Equalizer ruleset with low mana cap, I picked units with low mana to maximize the slots. In the tank position, I had the one mana Halfling Refugee. He's a capable tank that deals three melee damage. In second position I had the three mana Ironwing Juggernaut. He has the Charge ability and can attack from that position. In third is my best unit, legendary Bren Palesworn. He deals dual damage and has the Shapeshift ability, enabling him to receive the Bloodline Dominion ability from the archon. In fourth was Ujurak Elder who buffs the whole team with an extra health. Finally, I had Oshannus Unmade who deals two range damage.

The enemy also had a weaker line up. He also had Halfling Refugee, Ironwing Juggernaut and Ujurak Elder in his team but they are only at level one. To complete his line up he had a couple of magic damage dealers. Their attacks were decreased by my archon. This put the enemy at a big disadvantage and my team took the victory in this battle.
