Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Khan Feywest is a rare Earth card from the Arena Vanguard. The card is based on community creator @ehmaywuntee and is part of a special group of cards inspired by Splinterlands creators and community members. Same as Jolius Blast who I wrote about yesterday, Khan is a card that was created for the Frontier but he is strong enough to fight in other formats like Modern or Wild. In today's post, I'll show a sample battle where he helped the team win.

The ruleset is Wands Out where only magic units can be summoned. There's an additional ruleset, Enraged Warriors giving speed boost to melee units. This means that multi attack units will have an advantage. I chose the elf archon because she debuffs the enemy's magic attackers.
Anchor Hex Adept is my best card to tank owing to his Void Armor and Divine Shield abilities. This gives him some sustainability to absorb attacks. Of course, he deals two magic damage himself so he's not short on offensive weapons.
Mindless Thrall deals three magic damage and is very fast with five speed. This means he will be the first to attack and do damage before the enemy.
Arcane Skinwalker has the Shapeshift ability and gains the Execute ability from the archon. It's an ability that becomes crucial during tight battles.
Another Frontier card is Glimmermancer. He's a decent card that deals two magic damage and has six health.
Khan Feywest's three magic attack is a huge help in this battle. When he gets to level two, he'll gain the Divine Shield ability that prolongs his life.
Blackmoor Wild Elf deals two magic damage and will gain the Execute ability from the archon. She has the lowest health so she gets placed in last position.
The enemy has a lower level archon but included two powerful legendary cards in his team. These were Gramel the Hunger who boasts of three attack types. This means he will have a speed boost on his melee attack. On the other hand, putting him in first position means that he will not be able to use his range attack which was a bit of waste. His second legendary card is Mahkah Hemlig who has four magic attack.
Inspite of having no legendary cards, my team has advantages. First, my first card has additional defense against magic that will prolong his life. Second, I have two cards with three magic attack including Khan Feywest. Third, overall, my cards have higher health compared to the opponent. These advantages allowed my team to win the game.
