Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
The Conclave Arcana reward cards introduced new units that shake up the meta and take advantage of rulesets. Jokari Venshiro is one such card with stats and abilities that will be a welcome addition in our battles. In today's post, we'll go over Jokari's lore, stats & abilities as well as show my own battle where I used him effectively.
Joraki Venshiro is a fierce and rebellious dragudo warrior sent by the Empire to investigate the disappearance of Tasoshi Drakamoto in the Wild Northeast. Jokari was known for his combat skill and defiant attitude toward authority. He wields a powerful dragonbone bow capable of devastating attacks. Though he openly mocks his companions and ignores orders, he remains committed to the mission and understands the importance of stopping the Conclave Arcana. He shows arrogance but he has a deep sense of duty to the Dragonsguard, the Empire and the truth behind Tasoshiβs disappearance.

Jokari Venshiro is an eight mana, epic Death splinter card. At maxed level, he deals five range damage, has eight health and three speed. He has four abilities with various effects. Painforge enables him to increase his power when he gets poisoned, burned or hit by an ally. He can blind enemies, increasing their chance to miss physical attacks. He has Piercing to complement his high attack stats and finally, he has Affliction to prevent healing to afflicted units.
My Jokari Venshiro is level two and already useful at that level in Silver and Gold Leagues. I plan to raise him at level three where he increases his attack to four and gains the Piercing ability.

The battle included the Equalizer and Collateral Damage rulesets. When I see this rulesets, two key cards come to mind. One with Painforge ability and the other with Corrupted Healing ability. Having this in mind, I picked the dragon splinter led by Kavor Skarn and chose Death units. I had Doomshield Warden as tank followed by Nightreaper as a second tank. In third, I had a taunt unit Syrenth to draw attacks. In fourth I had a high damage dealer Magnificent Mollusk. In fifth position I had Jokari Venshiro. His Painforge ability will add power to him as he gets damaged by Reckless. In last, I had the Arachne Weaver who heals the whole team as they get damaged by Reckless.
The enemy chose Death who also had the twin units Jokari Venshiro and Arachne Weaver in the team. The difference that gave me the advantage was the higher level Jokari who had the Blind ability. I also had more attacker units in team that added to my advantage.
