Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog! Dragonlord Mancer is a legendary Dragon Archon from the Conclave Arcana set and serves as the ninth and final Conflicts airdrop card in the series. He is a very strong archon with powerful abilities in his kit. In today's post, we'll go over his lore, his stats & abilities as well as show a battle where he performed effectively against my team.

Dragonlord Mancer, born Erik Mancer, rose from a nameless orphan to one of the most respected commanders in the Gloridax Empire. Raised by the lich Crypt Mancer and trained in forbidden magic, he soon rejected evil and forged his own path as a warrior mage. His heroism during the Chaos Legion war earned him the title of Dragonlord and a place among the Dragonsguard.

Legendary Dragonlord Mancer is a seven mana, Dragon splinter card. This means that he can summon all splinters making it possible for countless possible combinations. In addition, he can also summon two bloodlines of Saurian and Bruteborn. As for abilities, this makes him stand out among the archons. He is too strong in my opinion. First, he grants two units with powerful abilities Bloodlust and Corrupted Healing. Bloodlust adds to all stats everytime a unit defeats an enemy. Having two units with bloodlust in the team gives them a huge advantage. Even brawls normally only allow one gladiator card that has bloodlust ability. Corrupted healing is another broken ability, healing multiple units in the team. Having two of them sustaining the team with healing is absolutely insane. This ability could be comboed with the Bloodline Dominion ability, Scavenger that increases health and counteracts the cons of Corrupted Healing.

Today's featured battle shows player Jadebalance have Dragonlord Mancer lead his team. His team is a very strong that included three legendary cards. His tank was Croire, who has the Flank ability, granting the second position card the Reach ability. It's a Saurian so he gets the Scavenger ability from the archon. His second position unit is a strong dragon card, Zyrx the Emberglace. It's a dual attack unit including five melee damage. He gave the Corrupted Healing and Bloodlust abilities to Zyrx making it stronger. Next is a filler one mana card, Halfing Refugee. His fourth unit is another strong legendary dragon. Calamity deals two magic damage and has the Shapeshift ability, able to benefit from the archon's Bloodline Dominion ability. He was also granted the Corrupted Healing and Bloodlust abilities. The fifth unit was Portia Nyr who has the Shapeshift ability. She also has Painforge that makes her stronger when hit by an ally. Lastly, he had a Taunt unit, Songale. It's Reckless ability will hit Portia Nyr that will empower her.
His unfortunate enemy was me. I fielded my usual Earth team of Quilliun Legionary followed by elf damage dealers. I have a high win rate with this team but in this case, Jadebalance's team was much stronger. Even though he had units with debilitations, his two healers make up for it. In addition, he had units with Scavenger that increases their health whenever a unit dies. My team put up some resistance, immediately defeating two of Jadebalance's units. However, Jadebalance's team caught up and started destroying my units. They eventually won the battle.
