Ability Combo: Electrified + Painforge

We often look for units that synergize well in battles. However, not only units have synergy. Certain abilities can also work well with each other. It's up to us players to find those and use them in our battles. One such synergy can be found in Electrified and Painforge. Electrified and Painforge abilities have an amazing synergy. One ability constantly damages your own team while the other empowers the unit for taking that damage. In today's post, we'll check out the units that have those abilities and how they can work well together.
Electrified
Deals 1 damage to all allied Units at the beginning of each round.
There are four units that have this ability or debilitation.
These are mostly Water and one Dragon card. The new Electrofox card has this and can be comboed with Water or Fire cards with Painforge ability.
Painforge
+1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning, or hit by an ally.
Six units have this ability. We can already have some ideas of combos in the Water, Fire or Dragon splinters.
Possible combos are Electrofox with Vicious Giraffe; Shock Trooper or Water Diviner with Torrent Sniper; Calamity with Joraki Venshiro, Aranduriel or any unit since it's a Dragon card that can combo with any splinter. There's also Portia Nyr who is a neutral card that can combo with any other cards.
Featured Battle
The battle was from one of my own. I frequently use this combo whenever I have the chance to do so.
This was a low mana battle so I chose a one mana card, Halfling Refugee as my tank. I was set back by my archon who needed six mana but I managed to fit in my other units. I used Torrent Sniper and Shock Trooper combo. Six mana Abyssal Elemental completed my four man team.
The enemy also used a team with four units. His archon was Kavor Skarn with only four mana. He could have fielded more units but most of the mana allocation was taken by his main damage dealer, Night Reaper. He also had the Halfling Refugee in the tank position followed by eleven mana Night Reaper. It deals three magic damage but it would have been better to use more units rather than one strong unit. In low mana battles, the more units give a definite advantage over the team with less units.
In the battle, the Torrent Sniper increased its power the longer the battle progressed. It reached an attack power of six when the enemy was defeated.
