SPLINTERLANDS SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE: THE BEST SEASON AND THE WORST DISAPPOINTMENT / DESAFIO DE MÍDIAS SOCIAIS DE SPLINTERLANDS: A MELHOR TEMPORADA E A PIOR DECEPÇÃO (EN/PT)

Hello Splinter family! One of the worst things in human life is disappointment: achieving your goals and not getting any results from it. My last season was a whirlwind of emotions and everything resulted in bad choices, frustration and a lot of anger. I achieved goals that I had never achieved before and let it all slip through my fingers.

I know my post seems like a lot of whining, but let's understand step by step what happened.

A dream I wanted to achieve in the future in Splinterlands was the DIAMOND league. For now, I was happy to reach the GOLD II league, but fate smiled upon me. I achieved goals I never imagined last season. I finally felt the pleasure of playing in the DIAMOND league. The level of difficulty to stay in this league is surreal. A great goal achieved twice in the same season, something that will take me a while to achieve again.

NOTE: I lost most of the cards that some friends were delegating to me, i believe that is the my standard for the GOLD II league.

I was greatly disappointed at the end of the season: I was in the top 8 of the leaderboard and consolidated my position as top 104, missing out on the season's prize. You can't imagine the anger and frustration that this caused me. I literally settled down, believing that the score I had was enough to keep me in the top 100, when I analyzed the scenario, I was outside the top 100 list, I tried to play in desperation and my ranking dropped more and more. I didn't play sensibly, I not played with the possibilities, if I had continued playing at the standard I had when I reached the top 8, I would certainly be in the top 100. My choice to avoid playing matches to maintain my score was a huge mistake. In short, wrong choices.

Getting that amount of GLINTs: 85k in a season seemed impossible for my reality, but effort, dedication and a relatively strong team proved that it is possible to get even more. I don't know if I was happy or angry when I finished the season, although I managed to exceed my expectations in GLINTs, it was at that moment that I discovered that I didn't make the top 100, the indignation made me forget to record the moment.

There's nothing i can do, reorganize the team and move forward, try to surpass the current results and get better and better scores.

The amount of GLINTs you earn is a momentary illusion, it's the same as your paycheck at the end of the month, you earn all that and in a few minutes you have nothing left. I was so happy with the amount of GLINTs I earned, I thought, I'm going to get my first legendary card with GLINTs. Some friends advised me not to spend on legendaries, they said that in my situation it's more viable to spend on epic cards, in short, they were right and I was totally wrong. I went against all the information and bought a legendary for 35k GLINTs, the biggest regret of my life in the game. Out of all the possible legendaries, there are 2 that I have no interest in at all and one of those two came up: GALLICUS. It is usable, but exchanging my hard-earned GLINTs for it was very cruel.

I spent the rest of my GLINTs on common and rare chests, I didn't get anything very valuable, just basic cards and a huge desire for better cards. I regretted not having spent it buying several epic cards.

Creature with a cost of 4 at level 1 that has the attributes: archer attack 2, 5 life and 1 agility. Its initial ability is TAUNT, which makes opponents attack it instead of others. Even when leveling up, its stats remain intact, it only gains the abilities SHIELD, which increases its defense against physical attacks; STRENGTHEN, which increases the life of all allies on the field by 1, including its own; Finally, HEADWINDS, reduces the power of ranged creatures by 1.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's just 1 of the 2 legendaries in the block that don't fit my game strategy. Anyway, it's just another legendary, there's nothing to do but take advantage of its potential.

Guys, this was a summary of my last season, it was quite turbulent, wonderful in its trajectory and in the end, it ended up being a disappointment.

Olá, família Splinter! Uma das piores coisas na vida humana é a decepção: atingir seus objetivos e não obter nenhum resultado. Minha última temporada foi um turbilhão de emoções e tudo resultou em más escolhas, frustração e muita raiva. Alcancei objetivos que nunca havia alcançado antes e deixei tudo escapar por entre os meus dedos.

Sei que meu post parece um monte de reclamações, mas vamos entender passo a passo o que aconteceu.

Um sonho que eu queria realizar no futuro em Splinterlands era a liga DIAMOND. Por enquanto, eu estava feliz por chegar à liga GOLD II, mas o destino sorriu para mim. Alcancei objetivos que nunca imaginei na temporada passada. Finalmente senti o prazer de jogar na liga DIAMOND. O nível de dificuldade para se manter nesta liga é surreal. Um grande objetivo alcançado duas vezes na mesma temporada, algo que levará um tempo para alcançar novamente.

NOTA: Perdi a maioria das cartas que alguns amigos estavam me delegando, acredito que esse seja o meu padrão para a liga GOLD II.

Fiquei muito decepcionado no final da temporada: fiquei entre os 8 melhores da tabela de classificação e consolidei minha posição entre os 104 melhores, perdendo o prêmio da temporada. Vocês não imaginam a raiva e a frustração que isso me causou. Literalmente me acomodei, acreditando que a pontuação que eu tinha era suficiente para me manter no top 100. Quando analisei o cenário, eu estava fora da lista dos 100 melhores, tentei jogar em desespero e meu ranking caiu cada vez mais. Não joguei com sensatez, não joguei com as possibilidades. Se tivesse continuado jogando no mesmo nível que quando cheguei ao top 8, certamente estaria no top 100. Minha decisão de evitar jogar partidas para manter minha pontuação foi um erro enorme. Resumindo, escolhas equivocadas.

Conseguir essa quantidade de GLINTs: 85 mil em uma temporada parecia impossível para a minha realidade, mas esforço, dedicação e uma equipe relativamente forte provaram que é possível conseguir ainda mais. Não sei se fiquei feliz ou bravo quando terminei a temporada, embora tenha conseguido superar minhas expectativas em GLINTs, foi naquele momento que descobri que não cheguei ao top 100. A indignação me fez esquecer de registrar o momento.

Não há nada que eu possa fazer, reorganizar o time e seguir em frente, tentar superar os resultados atuais e obter pontuações cada vez melhores.

A quantidade de GLINTs que você ganha é uma ilusão momentânea, é o mesmo que o seu salário no final do mês, você ganha tudo isso e em poucos minutos não tem mais nada. Fiquei tão feliz com a quantidade de GLINTs que ganhei, que pensei: vou conseguir minha primeira carta lendária com GLINTs. Alguns amigos me aconselharam a não gastar com cartas lendárias, disseram que na minha situação é mais viável gastar com cartas épicas; em resumo, eles estavam certos e eu totalmente errado. Fui contra todas as informações e comprei uma lendária por 35 mil GLINTs, o maior arrependimento da minha vida no jogo. De todas as lendas possíveis, há duas nas quais não tenho interesse algum, e uma delas surgiu: GALLICUS. É usável, mas trocar meus GLINTs conquistados com tanto esforço por ela foi muito cruel.

Gastei o resto dos meus GLINTs em baús comuns e raros, não consegui nada muito valioso, apenas cartas básicas e uma vontade enorme de cartas melhores. Me arrependi de não ter gasto comprando várias cartas épicas.

Criatura com custo 4 no nível 1 que possui os atributos: ataque de arqueiro 2, vida 5 e agilidade 1. Sua habilidade inicial é PROVOCAR, que faz com que os oponentes o ataquem em vez de outros. Mesmo subindo de nível, seus atributos permanecem intactos, ganhando apenas as habilidades ESCUDO, que aumenta sua defesa contra ataques físicos; FORTALECER, que aumenta a vida de todos os aliados em campo em 1, incluindo o seu próprio; Por fim, VENTOS DE CABEÇA reduz o poder de criaturas de longo alcance em 1.

Não estou dizendo que é ruim, é apenas 1 dos 2 lendários do bloco que não se encaixam na minha estratégia de jogo. Enfim, é só mais um lendário, não há nada a fazer a não ser aproveitar seu potencial.

Pessoal, este foi um resumo da minha última temporada, ela foi bastante turbulenta, maravilhosa em sua trajetória e, no final, acabou sendo uma decepção.
