Hello Splinterlands family! Mana shortage is one of the biggest challenges faced by players, the divergence of thoughts about what to use is a great dilemma. I usually treat this type of battle as a game enigmatic, you make your choices intuitively and hope that the opposing team is inferior.

Dealing with extreme mana shortage is a complex thing; your team choice will depend on the elements available. In an extreme environment, the game gives you 12 energy to summon your team members. The archon usually costs 4, leaving only 8 mana to decide the outcome of the battle. I don't know how other players deal with this situation, but I can only see three paths to follow:

1 – Summon a single oppressive creature with the potential to annihilate the enemy. An example of this is the DIEMONSHARK, an excellent option, melee of the water with high stats, and skills that were made to decimate multiple creatures: TRAMPLE, after a melee attack, makes a second attack if it manages to kill an enemy unit; ENRAGE, raises its stats and RETALIATE, 50% counterattack.

2 – Infest the field with several creatures, think about quantity instead of quality. This option is very specific, players usually select the element of their preference and try to create an army for guarantee their conquest.

3 – Create a combo capable of withstanding an enemy attack in the face of a second negative battle rule such as BRIAR PATCH, EARTHQUAKE or NOXIOUS FUMES. This third option is very specific, the combat rule will end the confrontation quickly, ensuring a living creature is what you need, a good defense and skills that increase resistance are your greatest allies.

GOLDEN TIP: Creatures with zero mana cost are a viable alternative to get around the problem related to the lack of mana.

There is no way to determine in advance which will be the best choice, the battle rules can mess up your entire strategy, in some situations, your luck will be the best move.

Não sei como outros jogadores lidam com essa situação, mas só consigo ver três caminhos a seguir:

Um exemplo disso é o DIEMONSHARK, uma excelente opção, corpo a corpo aquático com atributos altos e habilidades que foram criadas para dizimar múltiplas criaturas: ATROPELAR, após um ataque corpo a corpo, realiza um segundo ataque caso consiga matar uma unidade inimiga; ENFRENTAR, aumenta seus atributos e RETALIAR, contra-ataca em 50%.

2 – Infestar o campo com várias criaturas, pensando em quantidade em vez de qualidade. Esta opção é bem específica; os jogadores geralmente selecionam o elemento de sua preferência e tentam criar um exército para garantir sua conquista.

3 – Criar um combo capaz de resistir a um ataque inimigo diante de uma segunda regra de batalha negativa, como BRIAR PATCH, EARTHQUAKE ou NOXIOUS FUMES. Esta terceira opção é bem específica; a regra de combate encerrará o confronto rapidamente, garantindo que uma criatura viva seja o que você precisa; uma boa defesa e habilidades que aumentem a resistência são seus maiores aliados.

Não há como determinar com antecedência qual será a melhor escolha, as regras de batalha podem atrapalhar toda a sua estratégia e, em algumas situações, a sua sorte será a melhor jogada.
