My Gold League Finale

I managed to crack the top 30, which is 'in the money' for DEC rewards in a relatively small number of games. I'm pretty happy about that. Now I'm going to leave gold behind and advance myself to diamond. With the reward system changing, the timing for this is good. I will need to continue to tweak my deck to stay competitive, and also learn the ins and outs of the new reward system.

Validator Node License

I managed to pick up a single validator node license during the presale. I may pick up another out of the next tranche if my vouchers tick up to 500 before it sells out. I'll let chance dictate my next move.

Gold Deck

I've been concentrating on upgrading my rare gold summoners for Chaos Legion. I've been making good progress on those and my other rare cards, with most in the level 6-7 range with a few maxed out.

Tournaments

Since I started playing tournaments again, I have a reasonable expectation of at least winning my entry fee back. When you factor my smattering of deeper placements, it creates a positive expectation. Whether or not it's actually worth my time from a financial sense is a different story, but it's nice to be somewhat competitive. Naturally I expected to be more competitive as my deck composition improves.

Brawls

Now that I'm back in a guild I've been getting signed up for Brawls. The last two couple were gold foil ones. I can manage to eke out a win or two, but it should improve as I continue to build up my modern gold deck. Still from a gold perspective, some wins are better than no wins, which is what many guilds face with the gold matches.
