So I managed to crack into the 3500s, and then took a dump back into the 3300s. Clearly I have some more work to do in Gold. I'm going to stick it out another season, shuffle some more cards, and play better before I graduate myself to diamond.
So I finally signed on with another guild, PeakMonsters [Vikings]. It's nice to no longer get invites from brand new guilds (no offense n00bs). Let's just say that my brawling skills are a bit rusty, and I've never brawled with Chaos Legion before. I've got some work to do here.
I finally started signing up to tournaments, and the same goes for my lack of tournament skill with Chaos Legion. The good news is it's pretty easy for me to win my entry fee back, so I'm thus far a break even tournament player, which is nothing really to brag about either.
I'm still treading water with rentals. I can't seem to replace the DEC fast enough after pulling cards I need off the rental market. Still, I'm taking a more long term view by continuing to acquire less expensive cards with a decent return on assets. No matter what the card is, I'll buy it if it starts to look cheap. At this point I'm looking to acquire as many in-game assets as possible. The print rate for reward cards is a concern, but when we had a lot smaller player base, people tended to flood the market with reward cards. We will likely not see a whole lot of movement in price until months after the supply dries up.
