Mastering the Battlefield with Nimbledook Explorer: Strategy and Synergy in Splinterlands
Hello Splinterlands friends, this week it's time to talk about another of the Soulbound cards from this new edition that is gradually flooding the battlefields of the game.
As you all know, I am a fervent follower of the Life Splinter. I really like the synergy you can achieve with this Splinter, as it allows us to play with magic attack cards, as well as melee and ranged attack cards, all of which are very powerful. It is one of the most balanced Splinters in the game.
Well, one of the cards that has surprised me is undoubtedly Nimbledook Explorer.
Let's start the analysis.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, esta semana es el turno de hablar de otra de las cartas Soulbound de esta nueva edición y que poco a poco están inundando los campos de batalla del juego.
Como todo sabéis soy un ferviente seguidor del Splinter Vida, me gusta mucho la sinergia que puedes llegar a tener con este Splinter ya que nos permite tanto jugar con cartas de ataque mágico, como de cuerpo a cuerpo y a distancia y todas ellas muy poderosas. Es uno de los Splinter más equilibrados del juego.
Pues una de las cartas que me ha sorprendido es sin duda Nimbledook Explorer.
Empezamos el análisis.
NIMBLEDOOK EXPLORER
Nimbledook Explorer is a surprising card because many might think it is a defensive card, but it hides an incredible attack power that we can substantially enhance with cards that have the Weapons Training ability.
Nimbledook Explorer es una carta sorprendente porque muchos pensarán que es una carta defensiva pero esconde un increíble poder de ataque que podemos aumentar sustancialmente con cartas con la habilidad Weapons Training.

But let's start by analyzing the card. Nimbledook Explorer is a common rarity card from the Life Splinter. With a cost of 4 mana points, it's perfect to use with the Little League battle condition.
At level 10, it has 2 speed points, 4 shield points, and 7 health points, but it doesn't have any type of attack.
Pero empecemos analizando la carta. Nimbledook Explorer es una carta de rareza común del Splinter Vida. De un coste de 4 puntos de maná, perfecta para usar con la condición de batalla Little League.
A nivel 10 tiene 2 puntos de velocidad, 4 puntos de escudo y 7 puntos de vida, no posee ningún tipo de ataque.
PROTECT
We start at level 1 with the Protect ability, which gives +2 shield to all our cards. This ability is perfect when combined with the next ability.
Comenzamos a nivel 1 con la habilidad Protect que da +2 de escudo a todas nuestras cartas. Esta habilidad es perfecta en combinación con la siguiente habilidad.
ARMORED STRIKE
At level 5, it learns the Armored Strike ability, which grants an additional melee attack powered by its shield. So, the greater the shield, the higher its attack power will be.
A nivel 5 aprende la habilidad Armored Strike ya que consigue un ataque adicional cuerpo a cuerpo con el poder del escudo. Así que cuanto mayor escudo tengamos mayor poder de ataque tendrá.
HEAL
Finally, at level 10, it gains the Heal ability to restore health to the unit in the first position.
Por último, a nivel 10 conseguirá la habilidad Heal para curar a la unidad en primera posición.
AN EXAMPLE OF COMBAT
Nimbledook Explorer has great synergy with the summoner Grandmaster Rathe as it increases its shield and provides Void Armor. If we combine this with a card that has Repair and another card with Weapons Training, we could be looking at Nimbledook Explorer hitting multiple times per turn and dealing significant damage to our opponent's cards.
Nimbledook Explorer tiene una buena sinergia con el invocador Grandmaster Rathe ya que aumenta su escudo y proporciona Void Armor si esto lo combinamos con alguna carta que tenga Repair y además otra carta con Weapons Training podemos estar hablando de que nuestro Nimbledook Explorer podría estar golpeando varias veces por turno y haciendo mucho daño a las cartas de nuestro enemigo.

In this battle, I learn something new: even though Nimbledook Explorer has the Armored Strike ability, it won't be able to use it under the Super Sneak condition.
From the very first second, the battle is under my control. Using Aves Sturgis at level 3 with 3 magic attack points and having adjacent cards without attacks deal the same damage is incredible. Additionally, the shield bonus provided by Nimbledook Explorer is perfect alongside my summoner Grandmaster Rathe.
In turn 1, my attacks target Baakjira, who holds up as best as possible against the damage onslaught.
At the beginning of turn 2, with no resistance, I manage to destroy Baakjira and focus on neutralizing my next victim, Kulu Mastermind.
Turn 3 begins, and I lose Celestial Harpy after dodging many enemy attacks. On my end, I manage to eliminate Kulu Mastermind and Noa the Just, leaving my opponent with nothing else to do.
Finally, in turn 4, I quickly finish off my opponent's remaining cards: Torrent Fiend, Hardy Stonefish, and Daigendark Surveyor.
En este combate aprendo algo nuevo y es que aunque Nimbledook Explorer tenga la habilidad Armored Strike no podrá usarla bajo la condición Super Sneak.
El combate desde el primer segundo está bajo mi control. Usar a Aves Sturgis a lvl. 3 con 3 puntos de ataque mágico y que las cartas adyacentes sin ataque hagan el mismo daño es increíble. Además el bonus de escudo que me ofrece Nimbledook Explorer es perfecto junto con mi invocador Grandmaster Rathe.
En el turno 1 mis golpes van hacia Baakjira que aguanta como puede tal avalancha de daño.
Al comienzo del turno 2 sin resistencia termino por destruir a Baakjira y me dedico a neutralizar a mi siguiente victima Kulu Mastermind.
Comienza el turno 3 y pierdo a Celestial Harpy después de esquivar muchis ataques enemigos. Por mi parte, consigo eliminar a Kulu Mastermind y Noa the Just con lo que mi enemigo ya nada tiene que hacer.
Por último, en el turno 4 rápidamente acabo con el resto de cartas de mi enemigo Torrent Fiend, Hardy Stonefish y Daigendark Surveyor.
