Death Ranger: A Low-Cost Legend in Little League! (EN-ES)
Hello, Splinterlands friends. One more week, I'm continuing my journey in the game, slowly improving new Reward cards.
With all common cards completed, and only one rare and one epic card left (which I'll try to get through league promotion rewards), my goal now is legendary cards. I'm going to try to get some of them to their maximum level.
Today I'm going to talk about a low-mana cost legendary card that I hadn't given much importance to, but which turned out to be very useful in a recent battle I had.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands. Una semana más sigo adelante en el juego mostrando como poco a poco voy mejorando nuevas cartas Rewards.
Una vez completados todas las cartas comunes, a falta de 1 sola carta de rareza rara y épica (que intentaré conseguir gracias a las recompensas por subida de liga), mi objetivo ahora está en las cartas legendarias. Voy a intentar llegar a conseguir alguna de ella a su máximo nivel.
Hoy voy a hablaros de una carta legendaria de bajo coste de maná y que no le habÃa dado mucha importancia pero que ha resultado muy útil en el combate que realicé.
DEATH RANGER
The Death Ranger is a Death Splinter card that costs only 4 mana. This makes it an excellent card for battles with the Little League ruleset or for low-mana cost fights.
Death Ranger es una carta del Splinter Muerte de tan solo 4 puntos de maná. Lo que la convierten en una excelente carta para ser usada con la condición de batalla Little League o para combates de bajo coste de maná.
At level 4, this card has 2 ranged attack, 3 speed, 7 shield, and 4 health.
Its abilities are as follows:
A nivel 4 esta carta dispone de 1 ataque a distancia de 2 puntos de daño, 3 puntos de velocidad, 7 puntos de escudo y 4 puntos de vitalidad.
Sus habilidades son las siguientes:
At level 1, it has the Void Armor ability, which is great for increasing its survivability as all magic attacks will hit its shield first.
A nivel 1 dispone de la habilidad Void Armor, genial para disponer de más vitalidad ya que todo los ataques mágicos primero impactarán en su escudo.
At level 2, it learns the Close Range ability. I believe this ability is essential for this card. It's not really worth playing this card until you have it at level 2.
A nivel 2 aprenderá la habilidad Close Range. Creo que esta habilidad es indispensable para esta carta. Hasta no tener esta carta a nivel 2 no merece la pena jugarla.
At level 4, it will learn the Scavenger ability. This is a very interesting ability that's truly worth getting, as it can be decisive in battles with low mana cost cards.
Por último, a nivel 4 aprenderá la habilidad Scavenger. Una habilidad muy interesante y que realmente merece la pena llegar a conseguirla ya que es determinante en condiciones en las que se usen cartas de poco coste de maná.
EXAMPLE COMBAT
In the battle I'm sharing, and due to the battle conditions, I decided to play Death Ranger in the first position. Since I have it at level 2, it can attack with its ranged ability from that spot and withstand my enemy's attacks for a reasonable amount of time before being defeated.
En el combate que comparto y debido a las condiciones de batalla, he decidido jugar a Death Ranger en primera posición. Gracias a que lo tengo a nivel 2 podrá atacar con su ataque a distancia desde esa posición y aguantar los ataques de mi enemigo un tiempo razonable antes de caer derrotado.

Whenever the Little League battle condition is active, I try to use the Death Splinter, which has many effective low-mana cost cards. For this battle, I'll use Death Ranger, Dark Arbolist, Uraeus, Ravenhood Warden, Clockwork Aide, and Broken Earth Thug. My enemy will employ a similar strategy with some variations in the cards they use.
The first round kicks off with low-power attacks that still chip away at the troops. Slowly, I manage to hit the enemy creatures, fortunately eliminating their Ravenhood Warden. My Death Ranger takes several blows from my enemy, proving to be an excellent choice for absorbing damage.
The second round begins in the best possible way, with simultaneous attacks from Uraeus and Broken Earth Thug taking out Venari Bonesmith and the enemy's Uraeus. I then manage to destroy their Dark Arbolist as well. My enemy is left with only two cards.
At the start of the third round, I lose Broken Earth Thug due to poison, but I quickly recover by destroying the enemy Broken Earth Thug. My enemy now only has Riftwing, unable to attack.
In the fourth round, due to Riftwing's abilities, my Uraeus and Death Ranger are eliminated. However, with Dark Arbolist, I manage to last until round 10, finally ending its life.
Siempre que está la condición de batalla Little League intento hacer uso del Splinter Muerte que dispone de muchas cartas de bajo coste de maná y muy efectivas. Para este combate usaré Death Ranger, Dark Arbolist, Uraeus, Ravenhood Warden, Clockwork Aide y Broken Earth Thug.
Mi enemigo jugará una estrategia similar con variaciones en las cartas usadas.
Comienza el primer turno con ataques de bajo poder pero que hacen daño a las tropas. Poco a poco voy golpeando a las criaturas enemigas con la suerte de poder eliminar a Ravenhood Warden. Death Ranger se lleva varias de los golpes de mi enemigo pero vemos como es una excelente opción para recibir daño.
El segundo turno comienza de la mejor forma posible, con unos ataques simultáneos de Uraeus y Broken Earth Thug que eliminan a Venari Bonesmith y Uraeus. Más tarde también consigo destruir a Dark Arbolist. Mi enemigo únicamente cuenta con solo 2 cartas.
Al comienzo del tercer turno y debido al veneno pierdo a Broken Earth Thug aunque rápidamente me recompongo destruyendo a Broken Earth Thug. Mi enemigo cuenta únicamente con Riftwing sin posibilidad de atacar.
En el turno cuarto debido a las habilidades de Riftwing mis cartas Uraeus y Death Ranger son eliminadas pero con Dark Arbolist llego al turno 10 hasta terminar con su vida.
