Hey there, fellow splinterland friends! It's great to see you all and read your awesome posts, I hope you're doing well and feeling awesome!
A new week and this time the secret mage battle ruleset given to us is the armoured up rulesets , the armoured up rulesets entails that each monster on deck is automatically given additional +2 armour which means the best way to exploit or take advantage of this ruleset is to use a magical attack cause magic attacks will ignore the armour no matter how much and go straight for the health except we are using the weak magic ruleset that's only when magic goes for armour first.
My entire strategy was built on capitalising on the ruleset , knowing fully well with the introduction of this ruleset most people will select cards with an already good balance and use them to attack, but to exploit the rule all one needs to do is use a magical attack, my strategy was entirely wrapped around this idea.
We were given a mana cap of 38 which was good enough for me to form a good lineup that consisted of a well balanced team.
Lineup
Given 38 mana cap (which was more than enough )
I had Knifer at my first position for his balance hp for magic attack and thorn ability against melee attacks,
2nd position I had Goblin psychic cause of his healing ability and his speed is slow he needed to be a close follow up otherwise he will be dormant till killed or game ends
3rd position was mycelic with the taunt ability, to draw away fire from the goblin and take all the heat plus the additional armour helps considering the +10 hp already packed by this monster
Regal in the 4th position cause of it's high speed and since I am using obsidian summoner it deals a significant blow to opponents,
Lastly was the endless ape with the scavenger feat, it adds a life for every dead monster, I had him in the last position as a fail safe.
ROUND 1
My opponent had a very good line up but took the ruleset too literally and came with a mostly melee attack and cards with good armour already
Round 2/3
The round 1 ended with my opponent loosing him most prominent monster, from there on out it was a loosing battle for him
Round 4
At round 4 the game was already lost and I was yet to loose a single card in the game.
The game ended with a flawless victory for me , didn't loose a single monster in the process and Knifer had almost as much health as he had when the game began,
In conclusion what separated us was the understanding of the ruleset, he capitalized on it which was a good thing mean while I exploited the ruleset, no amount of armour will be able to matter when it comes to magic attacks, so the best way to deal with high armour is just magic.

Congratulations! You did an amazing job, taking the ruleset too serious sometimes is bad, and yoy did pretty good by choosing magic attacks against armored monsters, and you didn't lose one of yours! that's dope.
