Today, I want to share an exhilarating battle I recently had in my Brawls, where I faced off against a formidable opponent under challenging rules. Join me as we delve into the intricacies of this epic encounter and witness the triumph that unfolded against all odds.

In this particular battle, the ruleset was a combination of Noxious Fumes, Going the Distance and Holy Protection.

Holy Protection

Noxious Fumes ensured that all monsters, from both teams, began the battle with a poisoned status. Going the Distance restricted the usage of monsters to those equipped with ranged attacks only, adding an extra layer of strategy to the mix. Additionally, Holy Protection bestowed the divine shield ability upon all monsters, making them even more resilient.

In this battle, my strategy was centered around utilizing monsters with the snipe ability to effectively target and eliminate any support units positioned on the enemy team's backline. By taking out the support units, I aimed to disrupt the enemy's strategy and gain a tactical advantage.

I opted to employ Thaddius Brood as my summoner of choice. The primary rationale behind this decision was to inflict -1 health on all enemy cards, making them more vulnerable to subsequent attacks and to the poison from the Noxiuos Fumes. Given that Thaddius Brood was the only available summoner in the Death Splinter, leveraging the health reduction effect seemed like a strategic advantage that could potentially turn the tide in my favor. Furthermore, the Holy Protection ability provided an additional layer of defense for both mine and my enemy.

The battle commenced, and both teams were immediately afflicted by the Noxious Fumes, enduring the poison that engulfed the battlefield. As anticipated, my lineup faced some difficulties due to limited card availability. Also, the enemy having Quix made it worst for my team. However, I remained undeterred and focused on maximizing the strengths of my team composition.

As the battle progressed, an unexpected turn of events took place. What seemed to be heading toward a draw suddenly transformed into a thrilling victory for my team. This unforeseen twist came in the form of Home Team advantage from arena tactics, which provided an unexpected boost, swinging the outcome in my favor. It was a glorious moment that showcased the unpredictable nature of Splinterlands battles.

Emerging victorious from this intense battle filled me with an immense sense of accomplishment. Despite the initial challenges posed by the limited card availability and the opposing team's formidable lineup, our strategic maneuvering and the synergy within our team proved decisive. Although, Arena Tactics played a pivotal role in this well-earned triumph.
