Last week I mentioned that sometimes defense is better than offense. In this case we all have buffed up defense! We all know the armor only helps against ranged and melee attacks. Doesn't affect MAGIC, except if you have void armor. Grandmaster Rathe comes into mind if we want to take advantage of the buff.

• La semana pasada mencioné que a veces la defensa es mejor que el ataque. ¡En este caso todos hemos fortalecido nuestra defensa! Todos sabemos que la armadura solo ayuda contra ataques de alcance y cuerpo a cuerpo. No afecta a la MAGIA, excepto si tienes Void Armor. El Grandmaster Rathe viene a la mente si queremos aprovechar el aumento de armadura.

Analizing the Opponent & Ruleset

With these two factors plus the fact I'm playing heavy with Obsidian, I could see my opponent using Owster Rotwell or Thaddius Brood. I decided to switch my summoner and double down on armor with Kelya and Wavesmith, hoping he wasn't going to use much magic.

• Con estos dos factores, además del hecho de que estoy jugando mucho con Obsidian, pude preveer a mi oponente usando a Owster Rotwell o Thaddius Brood. Decidí cambiar a mi invocador y enfocarme en la armadura con Kelya y Wavesmith, esperando que él no usara mucha magia.

Afterthoughts

I didn't expect my opponent using the -1 Magic summoner, but it goes in line with me using Obsidian a lot. I was happy to see his monster weren't high level. In the end I managed to win the match quite easily but I think I did well in my choices. If he was to use a death team I think think I would have won aswell.

• No esperaba que mi oponente usara el invocador de -1 Magia, pero esto va en línea con el hecho de que uso Obsidian con frecuencia. Me alegró ver que sus monstruos no eran de alto nivel. Al final, logré ganar la batalla con facilidad, pero creo que hice buenas elecciones. Si hubiera usado un equipo de muerte, creo que también habría ganado.
