Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Conclave Arcana Cards on X!

In less than a week the presale of Conclave Arcana will end. I posted last week the presale leaderboards and I expected that there will be players who will take position the closer the presale ends. This week, we have a new leader in Cryptomancer who spent 76m DEC dislodging Bravetofu. There is also a new name in the top six, Lovingthemoo who has 47.2m DEC total spend. The top twenty position is also exciting and I would guess that this is not yet final. We may get some more surprises when the presale ends on May 11.

I saw some new Conclave Arcana cards on X posted by GhostlyBG. I followed him to be for more updates. Here are the cards that he shared in no particular order.

Leolin Sifu

From her stats and skills, Leolin Sifu will be strong as a tank. She has no defensive skills and will rely on her armor and health to defend against attacks. She is more of an attacker tank that will hope to destroy her enemy quickly. Leolin is from the White team and an epic card. The new card designs are looking great, as expected from the new art designs we have seen before.

Bren Palesworn

A card that can attack with melee and ranged. Bale Palesworn is a legendary card. He is an assassin that kills enemies from behind. He has other skills too like true strike and weapons training that will help the team. He is a legendary and a neutral card that can be used in any teams.

Lucky Longshot

Another unit with two attacks, magic and ranged. Lucky Longshot also has weapons training to give attacks to zero attack team mates. She is a great card if you want to build your Death card collection. She will start having a second attack at level 3 and will only have a two ranged attack at level 6, the maximum level.

Gonach Excavator

A strong assassin card that can sneak from behind. Gonach Excavator will be nightmare for the enemy rear units. His melee damage is massive and it's also a fast unit. Another great card in the Death team. He starts with 2 melee attack at level one and will increase to 3 attack at level 3.

Canary Keeper

Canary Keeper is on the Fire team. He has decent stats for only two mana. He is a fast archer that can dispel enemy buffs granted by martyr or bloodlust. He has one attack at first level and will increase to two at level 4.

Hodlor

There are a lot of cards with two attacks in #ConclaveArcana#. Hodlor is both a melee and magic attacker. He is a card best placed behind the tank because of his reach skill. He has no armor so it's better for him to hide behind a defensive tank.

Cavewise Wayfinder

A card in the Fire team. Cavewise Wayfinder is a melee card that can be a tank. I like the card designs so far but I'm not that convinced that the speed stat should be moved to the right side. The left side of the card only has the attack and the design appears unbalanced. He is already good at level 1 and better if he can be levelled up to 3. He will have an additional attack.

Kavor Skarn

A dragon archon, Kavor Skarn will buff similar races with speed +1. I'm not sure if all dragons will benefit or only Drakoshans. Since he is a dragon archon, he can summon all available units in battle.

I'm saving some funds to buy single copies first. I plan to build my card collection using my rewards. I was planning to rent some Chaos Legion cards this season but I decided to just keep my DEC and use it on buying Conclave Arcana cards.
