There are seven days left for the presale of Conclave Arcana to end. If this is new to you, Conclave Arcana is the revolutionary new set in Splinterlands. It has new features like Bloodlines or in some games it is known as Races such as humans, dwarves or elves. Splinterlands has different races like Ulunds, Gnomes and Fiends.
The packs are also revolutionary. For the first time there are several pack options to choose from. The cheapest are called the Starter Packs that cost only $1. This pack contain five cards with one guaranteed rare but no epics, legendaries or gold foils. These are not available in the presale but will be sold throughout the life of Conclave Arcana or until a new set becomes available.
Veteran Splinterlands players are familiar with the classic Standard Packs that cost $4. Similar to previous sets, this contain five cards with one guaranteed rare or better and with chances to get gold and black foils which is another new feature of this set.
Alchemy Packs cost $12 and this is the most sold pack in the presale so far. Aside from the same features as the standard pack, the Alchemy Pack guarantees a Gold Foil and has the highest chance to get the new Black Foil card.
Legendary Packs have the highest cost of $24 per pack. It has similar features of the standard pack but it guarantees a legendary card.
There are already a billion plus DEC spent on Conclave Arcana packs. The reason for the demand are the juicy leaderboard rewards.
The first to sixth places will get promo cards Black Foil Arcane Skinwalker, a Gold Foil Gramel the Hunger and "The Arcane" Legendary title. They will also get to design an Archon and get a max regular foil, gold foil and black foil copy. These rewards are really juicy if you have the DEC or money.
The seventh to twentieth place will also get the same promo cards and title but doesn't get the archon rewards.
I posted the names above because I think that as we get nearer to the deadline, more buying of cards will happen as the leaders will compete for a place in the rankings. Even the twentieth place is not yet guaranteed at this point. Some in the lower ranks maybe planning to climb the leaderboards once the presale is coming to end.
Buying in the presale will also give the buyers guaranteed promo cards. There are two promo cards that will be given. The rare card is called Arcane Skinwalker and the legendary card is Gramel the Hunger. Spending at least 40,000 DEC will guarantee Arcane Skinwalker and 400,000 DEC will get Gramel the Hunger. Between the two, I like the legendary Gramel the Hunger better because it has three attack types.
Buying packs in the presale also has a chance to win in the raffle with juicy rewards. For every 1,000 points earned during the presale, the buyers will get raffle tickets for the Conclave Arcana Presale Raffle. The raffle will take place immediately upon the official release of the set on May 13th, 2025. There will be 71 lucky winners that will have a chance to win Black Foil, Black Foil Arcane, and Gold Foil Arcane variants of Arcane Skinwalker and Gramel the Hunger. The more packs you buy, the more chances of winning!
The Black Foil variant, introduced for the first time in Conclave Arcana is sought after because they are already maxed level cards. But this is not the only new feature, there is also the Arcane Variants. Another first in Splinterlands, the Arcane Variants feature animations in the card designs.
I don't have DEC or money to spend in the presale but I will look into the market once the packs are opened. I just got back to playing Splinterlands and will have to adjust my play to the new cards.
