Splinterlands - Outsider Brings Back Old Cards
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and members of the Hive gaming community! I was playing the daily missions when I encountered the Outsider modifier. With outsider, players can summon one unit from the Wild format. This modifier is great for players in the Modern format who has a lot of cards from the old collection like Chaos Legion. I especially like Outsider to let me summon my Chaos Legion cards that are just sitting in my inventory.
I played a recent game with Outsider. The mana for the game was only 33 so I had Terraceous Grunt, a six mana unit with a lot of health in front.
I also had legendary Terraceous Hulk but given the low mana of the game, Terraceous Grunt was the better choice. It was nice to bring back these units that are not used and enjoy playing with them again.
My opponent had a better outsider card. It was Goblin Mech with four attack. It used to be one of the high attacking front line cards in the early days of Splinterlands. We had the same number of cards but my advantage was in my archon. It grants Resurgence skill to two of my units which effectively gave me two extra units in my line up. I gave the skill to Terraceous Grunt and Ironwing Juggernaut. Looking back, it was probably a better idea to give it to Silverleaf Mage instead of Ironwing Juggernaut because it has the higher life stats. But still, the result went in my favor.

It was great that the developers thought of the Outsider modifier. It breathed new life to the old cards that remained unused in my collection. At least now, we can use them in games even if just one card at a time.
Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
