Season End and Rare Draws in Splinterlands
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! It's season end in Splinterlands and time to collect and spend glints. During the season, I was gifted Core and Escalation cards that substantially increased my cards. Additionally, the cards improved my win rate. Now I'm buying reward cards from Gwen's Glint Shop to further increase my deck. I have a total of 70k glint to spend. I'll buy rare draws first and see how I proceed from there.
I bought ten chests first and these are the cards I opened. Two Grove Doomblades. I think it can combine to level two now but let's keep going.
Another ten rare draws got these cards. Three Gravebrand Warlocks and two Mindless Thralls. I'm a heavy user of the latter, getting it to level 3 will increase its attack by one.
Ok, another ten draws. I was chasing Mindless Thralls, I only need two more cards to combine to level 3. I think I will just buy single copies from the market.
After all these, I still have 25k left. I think I'll save it for next season. I'll save glints to buy the Loot chests next. I just don't trust my luck with loot chests. I haven't gotten any legendary from gladiator chests yet.
My rare cards after my buying, four cards for combining. I'm missing two Mindless thralls to bring it to level 3. I'll be checking the market if I can find cheap cards.
To highlight the cards I combined.
Grove Doomblade after level two had a new skill, Fury. It doubles damage to cards with Taunt. Grove Doomblade has an attack of five so it's ten to cards with Taunt skill.
Pixie-Knife Hurler also had a new skill, Dodge. It's a 25% chance to evade attacks. Nice skill for this card who is an archer tank.
Gravebrand Warlock has no big change. Only added one life stat which is disappointing.
Dragonfang Lancer added attack stat. Only that I don't use dragon element units. I don't have the archon for it. Maybe in the future there will be a dragon archon in the Foundation set.
Conclusion
That's it for the new cards. Looking forward to the new season with my growing collection.
