Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
We improved our ranking to third in this week's brawl versus last week when we were in fifth. We had solid 92-34 win loss record and had a seven win lead over fourth place guild Kgmjam while second place guild had a nine win advantage over us.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I'm in rank 10-11th in our guild's top contributors with a 6-3 win loss record. It's a tough game when the opponent forbids the use of Quora in Fray one. There is not much choice in the Foundation set games and losing Quora is a huge disadvantage.
Selected Games
Here I present three of the games that I won.
Game 1
It's Earthquake modifier in this game. The strategy was to use units with high life stats. I had Water and my opponent chose Fire. Both of us followed the same strategy. My magic attack that went through armor was able to beat the opponent's cards and helped me win the games.

Game 2
Game two I relied on Captain Katie in the back for dps and had two tanks keeping her safe in front. My enemy had a legendary gladiator card but still my strategy prevailed.

Game 3
Game three offered little choice with only 19 mana allowed. I had to get creative and made Isgald Vorst into a tank. It's usually a card that attacks from the back having Opportunity skill. My dps was a legendary magic card. Fortunately, my opponent was worse. He only had a level 2 summoner and low level units. I was able to dispose of his units with ease.

Spending the Rewards
Same as last week, I had another Quora and some more rare cards like Captain Katie. While there are no legendary cards, it's not a bad pull either.
Isgald is due for an upgrade to level 3. I have four copies of Quora, three more and it will be upgraded to 3.
Conclusion
We earned 3,889 merits and 26 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
