Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
We maintained our ranking at third in this week's brawl. Second place Copium had a commanding lead with eight more wins. We had the same lead over rank four guild, Team Possible Legion with eight more wins over their eighty four.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I was in shared eleven to twelfth place in our guild's top performers by winning six games and only lost three.
Selected Games
Here I present three of the games that I won.
Game 1
I had higher level cards in this game giving me the upper hand. My opponent was also missing one unit, the unicord Paprikash. It's the natural number 2 card of Life in the Foundation set. I had the better team with two legendary cards. While my opponent used the same Life element, his cards were lower level and only one legendary.
Game 2
I had almost the same team in this game except for my legendary archer. My opponent used level one cards again versus my higher level units. In addition, I had the benefit of having a strong gladiator card for the win.
Game 3
We have exactly the same cards in this game. Same archon and gladiator unit. The difference was I had the higher level cards again that gave me the upper hand.
In all the games I won, I had the higher level cards. This fray uses free Foundation set cards so there's no excuse to fight using only level one cards. While we benefit from the guild, it's our responsibility as a guild member to have the right cards and contribute to the brawl. Or else it's unfair to our guild to occupy spots and lose for not having the right cards.
Spending the Rewards, Legendary Card!
I bought two packs and finally my luck turns! I pulled a legendary card at last. It's an Earth element card that's more of a support card than an offense focused one. It provides shield to all allied units. It's a low mana card that will be ideal in Little League modifier. My luck was doubled today as I also got an epic card together with the legendary. This is my luckiest chest pull.
Conclusion
We earned 4,389 merits and 27 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
