Pizza A Slice of Madness First Place in Brawl!

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: First Place!

We secured first place in this week's brawl versus last week when we were in third place. We had 87 wins to earn first place ranking. Second placer Team Possible Power also had eighty seven wins but had forty one losses versus our twenty five. Overall win loss ratio was better for our guild.

Top Brawl Participants and my Perfect Score!

I had a perfect brawl with and 8-0 record. There were other members in our guild that had the same perfect scores that helped our guild take first place in this week's brawl.

Selected Games

Here I present three of the games that I won.

Game 1

We had the exact same cards in this game. My opponent and I both fielded Fire element with the same units and gladiator. Even the levels are the same. A small difference in positioning where I placed the unit with higher health in last position. My opponent had a different position in which he placed a two health unit in last and was killed by my sneak units. This small change spelled the difference and got me the win.

Game 2

It's an important game against a member of second placer guild Team Possible Power. If my opponent had won then they may have taken first place instead of us. I had the Earth element with Quora gladiator card. This card is hard to match with all the tools in its arsenal. Two attacks and healing skill plus high life makes it a card that's difficult to beat. Having Quora in the team is already a big edge. My opponent had the meta magic team but it was no match to the strength of my tank.

Game 3

It's my turn to have the meta magic team in this game. I had the similar team as my opponent used in game 2. I faced off against the Life element whose specialty was armor. Unfortunately for them, magic goes through armor and was ineffective for defense.

Spending the Rewards - Legendary Card!

I'm lucky in this week's brawl. Not only did I get a perfect score, I also pulled a legendary tank this time. This card is a true legendary tank with high attack, high defense and anti magic Void armor. I mentioned earlier in game 3 that magic goes through armor. There's an exception when the card has Void Armor skill that this legendary card has. This means that its seven armor will block magic attacks. This means the card have effective defense against magic attacks. This is my best brawl so far considering my performance, our guild rank and my reward cards.

Conclusion

We earned 4,167 merits and 31 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
