Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: Third Place

We kept third place in this week's brawl. Second place Hydra Kids, Hydra Wife had a commanding lead with eleven more wins. We had a comfortable lead over rank four guild, Druids with seven more wins over their ninety seven.

Top Brawl Participants and my Rank

I shared fourth to seventh place in our guild's top performers by winning seven games and only lost two.

Selected Games

Here I present three of the games that I won.

Game 1

I didn't use any gladiator card in this game. I preferred the team that I use in thirty two mana games. The modifier encouraged the use of magic attacks and I don't have a magic gladiator card hence I kept my usual team intact. The four mana no attack card is an excellent tank in this 32 mana game. There follows three magic cards with my trump card Mystic Scaleweaver. It has three magic attacks and decrease the opponent's speed. My opponent has a legendary gladiator card in his team but my team won the game.

Game 2

Fire element was the only choice in another low mana game. My gladiator was a two mana card while my opponent's was eight mana. As a result, I had five cards played while my opponent only had four. It gave me one more card to attack and won me the game.

Game 3

Collateral damage modifier in the next game. I insulated my units with none attacking cards in between to lessen damage from "reckless". I had less attackers but some units were protected. As a result, my cards outlasted my opponent's as they also did damage to their allies each time they attack.

Spending the Rewards

I bought three packs this time and still nothing burger in terms of legendary cards. I'm starting to think they don't exist.

Conclusion

We earned 4,222 merits and 30 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
