Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: Third Place

We are in third place in this week's brawl. Second place Stray [PH] had four more wins. It's a slim lead and we could have caught up but luck was not on our side this time. Third place is not that bad anyway.

Top Brawl Participants and my Rank

I won six games out of nine and was on twelfth place in our guild participants ranking. It was a tougher brawl losing three games.

Selected Games

Here I present two of the games that I won.

Game 1

The game had no modifier and was on a higher mana. I used my big guns in the Water team reinforced by my gladiator card that has three attack and Opportunity skill. My opponent had the same splinter with different gladiator. His cards were lower level than mine which made a big difference in my favor. His Mystic Scaleweaver was only level one with two attack while mine had three attack. Also my epic card was higher level than his.

Game 2

The game was limited to archer units. I had Life which was sensible because the archon gives a shield buff plus I have good archer cards in Life including the gladiator. My opponent chose Earth and had only two cards against my three. I only had to kill his first card and I will win the game because archers cannot attack from first position.

Spending the Rewards

I bought two gladiator packs and still no legendary. There is just one epic and two rare cards.

There are cards that are up for upgrading. Most notable is Katrelba Gobson to level three. I don't have to upgrade other cards because I already have the gold foil versions at a higher level.

Conclusion

We earned 4,611 merits and 30 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
