Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight other guilds for the fun challenge and prizes. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Second Place
I'm glad to report that we kept our place from last week. We finished at second place again in the brawl this week with 279 pints. Brave Battlemages took the first place again and there's still that big gap between us and them. We have a comfortable lead over third place guild Fallen Angels.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I'm proud that I contributed well in this week's brawl with seven wins and only one loss. I landed in fifth to ninth place in our top guild contributors. It speaks well of our guild that there were members who had perfect scores with no losses.
Selected Games
Here I present some of the games that I won.
Game 1
The game was a fight between two Water teams. I didn't have a legendary gladiator card like my opponent but my Isgald Vorst was enough against the opponent's legendary Flagulon Reine. Asel Alagosdil picked the first position and Isgald took the second. The rest of my team were magic cards. My opponent also had Foundation epic and legendary cards and his gladiator was a legendary. I lost my gladiator card early and my other cards picked up the attack.

Game 2
This game have few options. I chose Incessant Sage and paired it with magic cards. My choice of gladiator was Captain Katie who has three magic attack. I had Lady Amara, another magic card for tank. She had seven life, sufficient for this purpose. My opponent chose Fire with archer attackers. His cards had the advantage in speed while mine had armor and magic. I prevailed anchored on the power of my gladiator card while my opponent didn't have any.

Game 3
I chose Isgald Vorst again in this game with Asel Alagosdil in front and Mystic Scaleweaver in the back. My opponent had the Earth splinter with Dread Tafarian for his tank. His healing skill assist to survive with Collateral Damage modifier. His second card was Kicking Roc with three attack. He did not have a gladiator card to reinforce his team. I had the advantage of having more cards reinforced by a gladiator. My opponent only had two Foundation card that put him at a handicap.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two packs and still no legendary cards in sight. For consolation, I got my third Quora card. One more and it will be upgraded to the next level.
Conclusion
We earned 4,167 merits and 33 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
