Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: Fifth Place

We were ranked fifth in this week's brawl and lost our consistent third place. We were grouped with strong guilds this time with Goat Gang and Lux Aeterna taking huge leads over us in third and fourth rank respectively. We had a healthy ten win lead against six placer Earn guild.

I shared rank eighth to ninth in our guild's top contributors with a 7-2 win loss record.

Selected Games

Here I present three of the games that I won.

Game 1

Maneuvers modifier means that I can play Quora behind Dread Tafarian and still use her dual attack. There followed my three archers with high attacks including legendary A'lan Musketeer with double strike skill. In last place was New Beluroc Aegis to attract attacks from the opponent. My opponent had a legendary gladiator to reinforce his team but my combination was a better mix of offensive and defensive cards.

Game 2

Game two had Back to Basics modifier. Quora's skills is no use in this game so I had Korthipus Bayne for my gladiator card. He has twelve life to stay long in the game. My dps units were an archer and two magic units. My opponent's cards were a good team if not for Back to Basics modifier. The thing is their skills don't work which means no healing, no reach skill so his second card cannot attack. My cards were not impeded and were able to attack from their positions. They were also not dependent on their skills so this was my win.

Game 3

Game three had Super Sneak modifier which means I can place Quora in any position and still can use her dual attacks. I also had the Dire Bear in the team with its three melee attack and is very strong. Because of the modifier, I had New Beluroc Aegis guard the rear. My opponent opted for Katrelba Gobson as a gladiator card. He didn't use much melee and his last card, Great Bear Druid was soft on defense. It got killed by Quora and started her bloodlust early. This paved the way for my winning the game.

Spending the Rewards

I had another Quora and more rare cards in the mix. While there are no legendary cards, it's not a bad pull either.

There were cards that were upgraded after opening the chests.

Conclusion

We earned 3,500 merits and 24 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
