Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: Third Place Again!
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place!
We are in third place again this week, keeping our ranking from last week. It was a narrow lead by second place guild Saucy Squad who had 107 wins versus our 106 wins. Over the fourth place guild, we enjoyed a wide lead over Legions of Angels PH who only had 98 wins.
Top Brawl Participants
My record in this brawl while still great, is worse compared to previous brawls. I had two losses this time which is important considering the second place guild's lead over us was just one win. It's still a great result as I joined the 8th to 9th place top brawl performers in our guild.
Selected Games
Here I present two of the games that I won.
Game 1
The first game had Earthquake modifier but the flying units were not available for use. I decided to field high health cards for survival. In this game, my card with the highest life was my gladiator Gorth with thirteen life. The second card with high life was Agnavian Salamander with seven. It also has splash attack which helps diminish the opponent's life.
My opponent had the same gladiator card but overall, his cards have less life than mine. Other than his gladiator, the next highest life was four. The lesser life stats did not work well for my opponent in this game of survival.

Game 2
The second game was another Earthquake affair. Instead of using flying cards, I used units with high life and healing to survive the earthquake. Quora was my gladiator card in this game. It has high life stats and healing. I also had Time Bandit and New Beluroc Aegis that has high life stats.
My opponent chose Death with a flying card Little Sister in his line up. It was a game of survival where my higher life and healing overcome the opponent's flying units.

Spending the Rewards
I have enough merits to buy two packs. The cards I got were not exciting. There are no epic or legendary cards. The rare cards that I got were not the ones I frequently use.
Conclusion
We earned 4,556 merits and 33 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
