My New and Combined Cards in Modern Format
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I got new cards gifted by guild officer, @aironeous. My cards have now increased substantially and levelled up to two. As a result, I reached Silver 1 and almost made it to Gold III but stronger opponents kept me at bay. The increase in my cards motivated me to level them up and I have been buying and combining to make them stronger.
These are the Core and Escalation cards that I have and I'll be buying and combining them especially the cheap common cards. The common reward cards are upgraded to three and next are the rare cards. So, my cards are increasing and let me play in Modern format and not just the Frontier.
The strongest cards that I play at the same time are Doomshield Warden and the Blue Dragon pair. It's easy to make a team with the two cards taking the first and second position and followed by magic attackers.
As for other cards, I saw Cavewise Wayfinder paired with Giraffe in other players games. This is why I bought more and combined the Giraffe to level three when I got Cavewise Wayfinder. They have to be used together to synergize their skills.
The Earth element got two new archers. They have high mana and high attack. I play them to win in high mana games.
There are many more cards who I have not played yet. There may be games when they will be needed so having more cards is better than not having them. For example the three and two mana archer cards that I haven't played. For sure they will have some use in the future if the modifiers restrict other cards.
For my progression, next is to buy archons from the core Conclave Arcana set. I'm only using the Foundation set archons and sometimes they cannot be used in Little League modifier.
Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. Borrowing cards is only one benefit. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls. Donate guild power to help upgrade the guild buildings. Our guild does not require us to donate but I give part of my earnings by donating.
