Finished the Season in Gold III

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I was improving my cards last season and it looks like my efforts paid off. I reached Gold III at the end of the season and earned many glint tokens along the way. Now it's time to spend them in rewards shop. By the way, I also got rewards for advancement when I reached Gold.

The best reward I got was two copies of an epic card. It pays to try and advance to higher leagues in Splinterlands and it can be done by improving the cards you have. I have been working throughout the season to make my cards stronger and it helped me reached Gold.

I now have two epic cards in my deck. I got Wailworn Specter earlier also from advancing leagues and the Saltwraith Pirate. It's a neutral tank good for low mana games.

I think I would like more epic cards. So for this season, I will be buying five epic reward chests from Gwen's Glint Shop for seventy five thousand glints.

When I opened the chests, I got one more copy each of Wailworn Specter and Saltwraith Pirate. One more and I can upgrade them to level two.

Aside from the two cards I already had, I also got three new epic cards.

This one is a flying dragon. It's a good card to play in poison modifiers because it has Immunity skill. The problem is I don't have a dragon archon. I hope a guild member will lend one in the library so that I can use my dragon cards. Or else, I will have to buy or rent one soon.

This one is a Death card with three attack. It's an archer that will have to play in the back. It has Painforged skill that can play in poison or burning modifiers. It increases its attacking power when poisoned or burned.

This card is a melee but it has a skill that targets flying units. I think it can attack from any position to target the opponent's flying units. This could be a good card to play in Earthquake modifier games.

So now I have five epic cards with two cards missing one copy to level up. I think I will buy more epic chests after next season. It's a goal I'm looking up to and after I got the epic cards I will buy the expensive gold chests.
