Beating Eagle Libre Again with King Erminaz
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! The last time I beat Eagle Libre was last month. I posted about my winning game in here. https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@iamchessguy/beating-eagle-libre-again-with. Today, I got the boss in the wheel again. This time, I used the Light element with King Erminaz and fought Eagle Libre again.
The version I fought today has the following skills.
Attack - 7 Melee
Armor - 20
Life - 85
Speed - 5
Skills: Phase, Halving and Slow.
Because it has Phase, I avoided Water element and magic. It has Halving that will decrease the attack of my front attackers. This was why I chose Light splinter because the attackers are from the rear and won't be affected by Halving skill. The star of this game is King Erminaz who has three attack and Double Strike skill.
My team was composed of the following cards.
Twice Yester Knight - It has Shield that will decrease the damage given by Eagle Libre. I needed my front units to be durable and hold the line for my rear units.
Buns the Unseen - An Arena Vanguard card. It has a thick armor for defense and in line with my strategy of keeping my front alive just to give time to my attackers in the back.
Sherringham Logger - Has two attack, I would prefer a higher but I had nothing better.
Vengeful - Has two attack, same as above. It's the next best thing I had.
King Erminaz Twincleaver - My best card in this game. It has three attack and attack two times for a total of six.
A'lan Musketeer - A legendary unit also with Double Strike skill. The problem is its attacks are dodged by Eagle Libre.
The other members of my line up were attackers to help decrease Eagle Libre's high life stats.
My plan worked for Twice Yester Knight and Buns the Unseen to hold the front line and let my back units do as much damage. There were problems with A'lan Musketeer because his speed is low and his attacks were dodged by Eagle Libre. The star of this game is King Erminaz who matched Eagle Libre's speed and does six damage at every turn.

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
