Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Happy Sixth Anniversary Splinterlands Warriors

Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the Splinterlands Social Media Weekly Challenge and for this week, we have the theme to be about the sixth anniversary of the Splinterlands game which is coming up soon. Without much anticipation, I will set the ball rolling.

It has been a while since I wrote an entry to the Splinterlands weekly challenge about how busy I have been for the past week. Let's dive into the agenda of the day. To celebrate the Sixth anniversary, Splinterlands has organized this challenge for members to share their journey and future plans for the game.

How I discovered Splinterlands was quite not that complicated because as an inquisitive Hivian who always tries to explore blockchain platforms, I came across this game on the Hive blockchain, especially from the Splinterlands community where I see a lot of members writing posts about them. I read them until later when I decided to try it and then boom here I am today. There was nothing magic about my discovery of the game.

After discovering the game, I then bought the spellbook which officially makes you a member of the community. This happened somewhere in February last year (2023). I have been battling since then till now.

I am a seasonal veteran and I have been actively engaging with the game every season, just now I am kind of a little busy and don't have much time to play but then when it comes to brawls I do enter all my brawls. Currently playing in the PIZZA 420 THE CALZONES guild and we have been doing quite well for the last months.

I play the role of an Officer in that guild and I have been a great contributor to the guild since I joined the guild. The time spent on the game doesn't affect my daily routine activities. I used to play 6 hours a day but not consecutively though.

With accomplishments in the game, having 2.6K staked SPS in the game which I earned from playing is a great achievement for me. Also, being able to the Diamond level some months back so was a great accomplishment as well. I have also earned a certain good number of cards which is helping me a lot in battles.

As of now, I am hoping to come back to playing actively again just as I used to do previously. I have never been tired of playing the game because it is fun and rewarding. To all newbies out there, once you join the game, make sure to get some decent cards either from the sales market or the rent market and start battling the forces. Before you start playing the game, make sure you have utilized the practice section in the game to learn more abilities and strategies as to how to play and set a good team lineup in the game.
