The Ascension Tournament and two new cards for my deck.(En/Es)

After about two or three seasons, I was able to participate in one of the Ascension tournaments again. To ensure my entry, I had to make an effort to get to a suitable position in the bracket and that at the end of the season I would not end up losing many places due to the more active players. But well, in the end I won an entry and the tournament that was held this season had all the sets available to participate.

For me these tournaments are entertaining; since all the cards are available and at their maximum level (ghosts), we can play with cards that, due to their rarity and collection, are difficult to access for many players. I did well this time, I tried some cards that I didn't know and others that have defeated me many times in battle.

One of those battles I used cards from different sets in combination with the archon Risqruel Drath. That archon granting the flying ability has annoyed me in many battles in the Modern format.

I used the Risqruel Drath archon to bypass the damage caused by the Earthquake battle rule. Also, select multiple attackers with the Snare ability, which nullifies the flight ability of the attacking target.

My opponent for this battle chose several warriors with the flying ability; his archon would strengthen his defense and grant the abilities to repay ranged and Blind attacks to decrease the success of melee and ranged attackers.

Round 1.
My provocateur warrior had a set of skills that made it easy for him to dodge the attacks of any of my opponent's warriors. Even if they managed to hit an attack, he could be healed by one of the warriors on the second line.

My two warriors with ranged attack attacked two warriors with the flying skill, nullifying with this skill by Snare effect. But being a ranged attack, they received damage by Return Fire effect, Grenadier being defeated by this.

We both lost a warrior in this round.

Round 2.
Upon losing their flying ability, both warriors took damage from the battle rule.

In this round my opponent lost another warrior; now he has only two left and one of them is already weakened.

Round 3.
In this round, my opponent's other warrior lost the ability to fly, but in retribution my attacker was defeated.
My other warriors took it upon themselves to weaken and defeat the two warriors still standing.

The first card I want to share with you is the one from Luckiest Longshot. I received this letter after accumulating 500 entries to the fortune drawing on Fridays, but I had no luck in any of the copies of the drawing and only accumulated the entries as Lucky Coins. Currently, I keep accumulating Lucky Coins towards another copy, while I wait for luck to smile at me in some draw.

The glint you win in the tournament is used to complete the necessary and continue adding legendary Rewards cards. Luck accompanied me and I managed to get a different legendary to the ones I already own. Now, with the new arrival, I complete five and I would be missing another seven.

Esta semana recibí una nueva carta por parte de las Entradas de la Fortuna en el formato moderno y, participando en el torneo Survival, gané algo de Glint para sumar otra carta. Pero primero les comentaré un poco del torneo y después les muestro mis dos nuevas cartas.

Después de como dos o tres temporadas, pude volver a participar en uno de los torneos Ascension. Para asegurar mi entrada, tuve que esforzarme en llegar a una posición adecuada en el bracket y que al final de temporada no terminara perdiendo muchos lugares debido a los jugadores más activos. Pero bien, al final me gané una entrada y el torneo que se realizó en esta temporada contaba con todos los sets disponibles para participar.

Para mí estos torneos son entretenidos; al estar disponibles todas las cartas y en su máximo nivel (fantasmas), podemos jugar con cartas que, por su rareza y colección, son de difícil acceso para muchos jugadores. A mí en esta oportunidad me fue bien, probé algunas cartas que no conocía y otras que me han derrotado muchas veces en batalla.

Una de esas batallas que usé cartas de diferentes sets en combinación con el arconte Risqruel Drath. Ese arconte otorgando la habilidad de vuelo me ha molestado en muchas batallas en el formato Modern.

Usé el arconte Risqruel Drath para eludir el daño producido por la regla de batalla Earthquake. Igualmente, seleccione varios atacantes con la habilidad de Snare, que anula la habilidad de vuelo del objetivo de ataque.

Mi oponente para esta batalla eligió a varios guerreros con la habilidad de vuelo; su arconte reforzaría su defensa y otorgaría las habilidades de retribuir los ataques a distancia y Blind para disminuir el éxito de los atacantes melee y a distancia.

Round 1.
Mi guerrero provocador tenía un conjunto de habilidades que le facilitaban el esquivar los ataques de cualquier guerrero de mi oponente; aunque lograran acertar un ataque, podría ser curado por uno de los guerreros de la segunda línea.

Mis dos guerreros con ataque a distancia atacaron a dos guerreros con la habilidad de vuelo, anulando con esta habilidad por efecto de Snare. Pero al ser un ataque a distancia, recibieron daño por efecto de Return Fire, siendo derrotado Grenadier por esto.

Ambos perdimos un guerrero en este round.

Round 2.
Al perder su capacidad de vuelo, ambos guerreros recibieron daño derivado de la regla de batalla.

En este round mi oponente perdió otro guerrero; ahora solo le quedan dos y uno de ellos ya está debilitado.

Round 3.
En este round, el otro guerrero de mi oponente perdió la capacidad de vuelo, pero en retribución mi atacante fue derrotado.
Mis otros guerreros se encargaron de debilitar y derrotar a los dos guerreros que aún estaban en pie.

La primera carta que quiero compartir con ustedes es la de Luckiest Longshot. Recibí esta carta después de acumular 500 entradas al sorteo de la fortuna los viernes, pero no tuve suerte en ninguna de las copias del sorteo y solo acumulé las entradas como Lucky Coins. Actualmente, sigo acumulando Lucky Coins rumbo a otra copia, mientras espero que me sonría la suerte en algún sorteo.

El glint que gane en el torneo lo destine para completar lo necesario y continuar sumando cartas Rewards legendarias. La suerte me acompañó y logré obtener una legendaria diferente a las que ya poseo. Ahora, con la recién llegada, completo cinco y me faltarían otras siete.
