Splinterlands Season Wrap-Up: Glint Reward & Card Buys in Reward Shop

The new season is starting now in splinterlands so its obvious that the last one is over. This is the first complete season I have witnessed in the game. This is the second season for me but before this season I signed up for the game and it was almost halfway. By the time I could understand how things work it was over.

This season I got more time to explore things on the battleground and I tried my best to play as many as battles I could. I want to mention that playing battles on the game is very much fun and I enjoy it a lot. Most of the time I ensured that my energy count is not at 50 so it is always recharging which was the right way.

I have got Glint reward for this season and this season for me ended in the Diamond League. Initially, I was able to win so many battles but later I lost a lot. I think at the end of the season there will be more competition. So there are two parts in the glint reward where you can see the breakup.

I got 47K glints for end of season reward and 12K glints for the leadership glint where my rank was 38. This is interesting because I didn't know how things work like this. For me, it was just playing the battle and increasing the rating and league but now it's even more fun for me. I'll be trying to play even more battles this season. If required I will be buying some energy to give me more boost on the battleground because I will be able to play more battles.

Glint Spending in Shop

Now I will spend this game currency in the reward shop to buy cards. For me it is very important to grow my card collection and upgrade them. This will help me to reduce the number of cards I take on the rental. More cards means better gaming and this is what I have learnt so I am going to follow all this till the time I have a good collection of cards. I think this in-game currency is mostly used for buying different sight of cards. With every card will get a different ability and power which helps in the gameplay. This is what I have as a glint in my account which is 61090 and out of this I got 60k from the season end reward only.

Buying 50 cards of rare draws and its cost is 37500 glint which I can afford. I am still left with a glint which I will spend today only. I'll spend all the balance I have as of now to buy the cards. There is no point for me to hold this balance because I need more cards and this is the way.

I confirmed it and got the cards to reveal. Now the next step for me is to buy more cards. I still have around 23k glint so now I will buy COMMON DRAW cards.

I need to pay 37500 glints for 50 rare cards and this amount I can because I have enough balance. It's also saying that five by more than a hundred items in one go so it will take more time but its fine I will see what time it takes. Even if it takes a few minutes then also its fine because I have that much time to get this task done.

This is done now and I have got all the cards and also shared an example of opening cards.

This is the updated balance I have now after the purchase and it is just one thousand so I will keep it for now. Now I'll play more battles and earn more glint so that in the next shopping I can buy more cards from the reward shop.

The Game Profile

This is my updated game profile and I have played 267 battles. I have won 174 battles till now and have managed 30 longest streaks.

I only play in a modern format. I have not played the wild and survival format of the game however I wanted to play survival but did not get time to do that. It is good for me only if I play it on the last day of the season. It is because if I lose the battle then my card will be locked but in the new season all those logged cards will be available for the play.

Modern is fun because it is mainly for the real players and not bots and all. I have not played wild so I don't know how it goes but maybe in future I can try it. Currently, I'm happy playing in modern and I have also started the battle for the current season and will utilise the weekend time more to play more battles.

So this is my current game dashboard where I am in the Gold League and will be playing more battles. I have 48 energy available but I'll try to make it below 30 today and tomorrow I will have more so I will also try to drop it below 10. After that, I can wait for some time because it gets recharged and I might also buy some energy which will allow me to play more battles.
