Engagement Challenge: My favorite Strategy [EN - ESP]
Good Friday afternoon, time for me to get in front of the computer to face this new edition of the Engagement Challenge with the variant of explaining and analysing some of our favourite strategies within Splinterlands. In my case I'm going to explain one of my top strategies for battles with little summoning mana available using the water deck I'm sure you can draw some good conclusions and take note of some details to put into practice with your decks. Buenas tardes de viernes, momento en el que me pongo delante del ordenador para afrontar esta nueva edición del Engagement Challenge con la variante de explicar y analizar alguna de nuestras estrategias favoritas dentro de Splinterlands. En mi caso os voy a explicar una de mis estrategias top para batallas con poco maná de invocación disponible utilizando el mazo de agua. Seguro que puedes sacar alguna buena conclusión y anotarte algún detalle para poner en práctica con tus mazos. Así que atento, sigue leyendo y ya me dirás si te ha servido de algo este artículo. I didn't have to think long to tell you about one of my favourite strategies in the @splinterlands universe. In fact, it's one of the strategies that has given me the most joy in the form of victories in recent months. Basically, I need a battle with a low summoning mana limit, the water deck is not banned and I can use it and, also, there are no restrictions on the use of melee cards because the basis of my strategy, to a large extent, is using this type of cards.
No he tenido que pensar mucho para contarte una de mis estrategias preferidas en el universo @splinterlands. De hecho es una de las que mas alegrías en forma de victorias me está dando en los últimos meses. Eso si, se tienen que dar una serie de condiciones para que realmente sea efectiva y me lleve al triunfo. Basicamente necesito una batalla cuyo límite de maná de invocación sea bajo, que el mazo de agua no esté baneado y pueda utilizarlo y, también, que no haya restricciones al uso de cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo pues la base de mi estrategia, en gran medida, es usando este tipo de cartas.
The basis of the strategy is that there is, as I said, a low summoning mana. And the collection of cards with a high summoning power-to-cost ratio that I have in my water deck is more than interesting. The use of Kelya Frendul as a summoner will give me a shield point for all the cards I use, which will also be crucial for the strategy A tank like Cruel Sethropod and a second card with Reach at the level of Tide Biter make the start of the line-up scary. Behind them, second line attack cards like Uraeus or Pelacor Bandit and complete with, depending on the battle conditions, 3-4 summon point cards like Xenith Monk, a healer, or even ranged or magic cards to keep doing damage from the second line.
La base de la estretagia es que haya, como ya te he dicho, un maná de invocación bajo. Y es que la colección de cartas con un elevado ratio poder-coste de invocación que tengo en el mazo de agua es más que interesante. El uso de Kelya Frendul como invocadora me va a dar un punto de escudo a todas las cartas que utilice que también será determinante en la estrategia. Un tanque como Cruel Sethropod y una segunda carta con Reach del nivel de Tide Biter hacen que ya el inicio de la alineación sea temible. Por detrás, cartas con ataque desde segunda línea como Uraeus o Pelacor Bandit y completar con, en función de las condiciones de batalla existentes, con cartas de 3-4 puntos de invocación como Xenith Monk, alguna sanadora o, incluso, cartas con ataque a distancia o mágico para seguir haciendo daño desde la segunda línea.
I've already given you some clues, but to make it more concrete with a battle I'll show you this one. 24 point summon mana limit and Lost Legendaries, Little League and Up Close & Personal as battle conditions I'm going to fill the lineup with melee cards and only one of the six, Xenith Monk, won't be able to attack from the second line.
Ya te he dado algunas pistas, pero para concretar con una batalla te muestro esta. Límite de maná de invocación de 24 puntos y Lost Legendaries, Little League y Up Close & Personal como condiciones de batalla. Voy a llenar la alineación con cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y solo una de las seis, Xenith Monk, no podrá atacar desde la segunda línea.
A long battle that has been one of attrition and of working round after round for victory. Kelya Frendul's extra shield and the fact that all the cards can do damage from the second line except the aforementioned Xenith Monk has been punishing the opponent until gradually advancing towards victory. Cards with attack from the second line and extra shield thanks to Kelya Frendul the bases of this strategy that works wonderfully in battles with little mana and without excluding the melee attack. Batalla larga que ha sido de desgaste y de ir trabajando ronda a ronda la victoria. El escudo extra de Kelya Frendul y el hecho de que todas las cartas puedan hacer daño desde segunda línea salvo la comentada Xenith Monk ha ido castigando al rival hasta ir avanzando poco a poco hacia la victoria. Cartas con ataque desde la segunda línea y escudo extra gracias a Kelya Frendul las bases de esta estrategia que funciona a las mil maravillas en batallas con poco maná y sin exclusión del ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.
