My Splinterlands Diary: Buy Gladius Pack & Opening

Hello Splinterlands players. Join me today as I buy and open gladiator packs after earning merits from weekly brawl. Our guild did well in the last brawl and I contributed with a record of five wins and only three losses.

I'm a member of Gank's Squadron Guild, playing brawls weekly. From there, I earn rewards to buy packs which I will do today. My results in brawls improved because of the cards delegated to me by our leader. Anyway, the topic today is the gladiator cards I'm buying and opening.

I have enough merits to buy two packs from the shop. A gladius pack is 2,000 merits per pack and I have 5k+ merits to buy two packs.

I opened the packs one at a time. The first pack contained the cards below.

The first pack contained a gold card Helmet Kharafax. It costs two mana but it has no attack whatsoever. I'll consider burning it to get merits because I don't see this card being used in battles.

This batch also had a rare Fire card. It's also a two mana card but this is so much better. It has two attack, two health and three speed. It has sneak ability so it does not have to take the front line in order to attack.

The rest of the packs were common cards.

Next pack had the following units below.

This batch has three rare cards and one gold. I had the same two mana rare card from the first batch. The other two are a three mana range and a seven mana front line card. The gold card is much more useful this time. It's a three mana card with two range attack. This batch is much more better than the first.

I forgot to check my cards inventory. I already have cards that are for upgrade. I'll raise their levels today.
