My Splinterlands Diary: Buy Gladius Pack & Opening

Hello Splinterlands players, I hope you have a nice day! Join me today as I buy and open gladiator packs after earning merits from weekly brawl. Our Gank's Squadron guild was in fifth place in the latest brawl and I earned my share of merit tokens.

I'm a member of Gank's Squadron Guild, playing brawls weekly. From there, I earn rewards to buy packs which I will do today. Today I'm buying and opening gladiator cards to add to my collection.

I have merits to buy two packs from the shop. A gladius pack is 2,000 merits per pack and I have 4k+ merits to buy two packs.

I opened the packs one at a time. The first pack contained the cards below.

The first pack contained two rare cards. Usually one pack has four common and one rare card. I consider the second rare a bonus. Both rare cards are for low mana battles.

Next pack had the following units below.

Now this is even better. It has three rare cards. Two rare death cards and one fire. I especially like the fire card Orella Abadon. It only has two mana but has two attack and two abilities.

My gladiator card increased but not yet ready to level up. Perhaps in my next purchase I can level up some cards.
