Guild Battle - Melee and Blast

Hello, Splinterlands players! I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying their battles in the game.

Today, I’m showing a battle from Guild Brawl. I have been playing this format weekly and I thought I would share a battle that I won. I join our brawl to earn merits and buy gladius packs. I also help our guild by scoring points.

But before we get to the rewards, let’s take a look at the battle that brought me one step closer to completing my mission. Hopefully, this victory will lead to some great pulls when I finally get to open my Gladius packs.

The battle modifier had Up Close & Personal and Explosive Weaponry.

Only melee units can be used and all units have Blast ability

I chose Life element and my first card was Saltwraith Bulkhead. It's strong with four melee attack.

Second card was a gladiator, Marisol Contuma. It has five melee attack and Reach ability.

Third card was Ironwing Juggernaut, a three mana card with two attack.

Fourth was Palimpest Prophet. It's attack is only one but has flying and charge abilities.

Fifth was Phlegmor. It has one attack and sneak ability.

My opponent had Water element and his cards are unfamiliar to me because they were from an early set. My cards can attack from the back position but my opponent's cards cannot. That's why even if my cards have lower power, with blast ability and constant attacks in a round, we diminished the opponent cards.
