Frontier Battle - Rise of the Commons
Hello, Splinterlands players! I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying their battles in the game. Today, I’m sharing another battle from the Frontier battlefield. I’ve been playing Frontier Mode regularly and this time I wanted to share a battle that I won while working on my daily mission. My main goal is to complete the mission so I can earn Foundation Packs. I’m always excited to open these packs because there’s a chance of getting useful cards and other interesting rewards that can help improve my collection.
For now, let’s take a look at the battle that helped me make progress toward completing the mission. Hopefully, this win brings me one step closer to earning the Foundation Packs.
The ruleset for this battle is Rise of the Commons, so I decided to build my team around the Earth element. Earth is currently the element where I have some of my strongest Common cards, so I felt it was the best choice for this particular battle. I was hoping that my lineup would be strong enough to handle whatever team my opponent brought to the battlefield.
My first card was Dire Bear. I thought either this card which has higher attack or Dread Tafarian who can heal itself will do for the first card.
The second card is Mad Gearhead who can reach and has two attack. It also has a high health.
Third was Vengeful Monk. It's not at maxed level yet so I'm aiming to get more cards to get it to max. It has opportunity ability to strike from any position.
Fourth is a card that has the exact same stats and ability as Vengeful Monk, Vicious Quilliun.
Fifth a range card with three attack. It's Wilhemdale Deputy.
Last but not the least was New Beluroc Aegis. It has Taunt ability to attract the opponent's attacks.
The opposing team had a golden set of cards. From the archon to the last unit and all except one was at their maximum levels. The only one at level four was the jackpot card Aimee Whisperwind but it has the new beautiful skin. Water is best when magic units are used but in this case, only one magic card is available so I won this battle.
