Frontier Battle - Arena Vanguards
Hello, Splinterlands players! I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying their battles in the game.
Today, I’m back with another battle from Frontier Format. Since I’ve been playing this format daily, I thought I’d share a battle that I won while working on my daily mission. My main goal is to complete the mission and earn Foundation Packs, which I’m always excited to open. You never know what you might get, and I’m hoping to find some useful cards and other valuable rewards that can help strengthen my collection.
But before we get to the rewards, let’s take a look at the battle that brought me one step closer to completing my mission. Hopefully, this victory will lead to some great pulls when I finally get to open my Foundation packs.
It's a fun battle that saw two Arena Vanguards face of against each other. On my side, it was Jolius Blast gifted by @iblast. My opponent had Buns the Unseen card.
I had the Fire element and my first card was Jolius Blast. He has an ability that lessens magic damage received. It's a good thing I had him as my opponent used Water element with magic units.
Second card was Chaos Furybringer. It has Reach ability enabling it to reach from behind Jolius.
Third to fifth cards were range units. They are perfect for the ruleset Witch Hunt that increase range damage against magic units.
Last but not the least was New Beluroc Aegis as a decoy unit to be attacked by the opponent.
The opposing team had Water element with Buns the Unseen. His best asset is his high armor stat. Then their attackers were magic units and legendary A'lan Musketeer which I also have in my team.
It was a good match up as the opponent's Slow ability cancelled my archon's speed buff. My team won because of my better tank in Jolius and blast attack from my Agniavan Salamander.
