The latest change in Tasoshi Drakamoto: Upgrade breakdown and Battle tips

Hello Splinter nerds

There was a recent update to Tasoshi Drakamoto the ongoing exclusive card purchased using voucher.

Unlike ``Kelan Gaines '', which is one of the most used cards in the Death Splinter, Tasoshi didn't get that much usage because there are better options to replace it or should I say it is not as good as expected which is not supposed to be so because it is more expensive than Kelan, and it is also an epic card!.

I can't use it in lower mana cap because it is an 8 mana monster, and also not that good in high mana battle cap because other sneaky monsters have low mana, and it will just be a waste of mana when there are bigger monsters that can take their position and yea I know it is not about big or small mana but that count in some battles, I can't use 4 mana monsters along with Tasoshi in a 99 mana battle when the opponent might come with dragons or other high mana cards with more amazing abilities.

Splinterlands team also realizes the card is not having much usage like the first reb voucher card ```Kelan Gaines`` and when a card is not that good, there will be less demand for it, which means players won't waste their vouchers on it. So recently, they made some new changes to Tasoshi by reducing the mana from 8 to 6 and giving it an extra ability, Pain forge.

The mana reduction will make it usable in some not-so-low mana battles like 20 to 30 mana cap without the fear of it consuming more mana, and the Pain Forge ability is another way to make it stronger by placing a monster with reckless beside it.

I tested it in battle, and I am pleased with the latest update.

The screenshot above is a battle of 26 mana cap, not too low or too high, and good enough to test the power of Tasoshi!

We were given 3 rule sets. The first rule states that the summoner has no stats. The second rule means no legendary monsters can be used, and the last rule states only 4 monsters can be used.

My tactic was simple: go all in with sneaky monsters.

The Quilliun Legionary was my tank because of its special abilities, it has void to protect my team against magic, it has thorn incase the opponent use melee monsters and even though it is a range monster it can attack from the front position because of its close range ability so it suit the position I placed it, the opponent didn't use magic but it deal some damages to the opponent melee attackers, the second monster on my team was night stalker and with his blast and execute abilities, it paved the way for victory for the team.

Gobalano Soldier was my second sneaky monster. It has an ambush ability, which makes it the first to attack in my team. He helped me eliminate the opponent's heal tank, "Satha Toledo," and Tasoshi Drakamoto helped me win the battle with his stun ability, as the opponent was close to defeating my team, but the stun from Tasoshi saved the day.

The battle was interesting, and now I have started using Tasoshi more. Below are other battles I won using it.

That card you have behind destroyed the opponents backline, I think the card that has stun too also did well. It was a close game though, the Thorn also helped massively

yea that is Tasoshi... I would have lost the battle without it stunning the opponent monster at the end...
