Barashkukor: The Destroyer of Taunt Monsters

Hello Splinter nerds

Barashkukor is a death splinter monster with 13 mana. The mana is high, but its amazing abilities cover up for it; it would be crazy to give a monster like that a low mana, because that would make it overpowered.

This monster is my alpha card in the lower league tournament. I spam it with Lorkus, and my win rate with the two combo is high. This is possible because it maintains its 5 magic powers from level 1; other levels add more abilities and different stats, but not the attack.

Aside from the high magic power, Barash has more unique abilities that make it stand out among its pair.

Fury: This is its first ability, and it gains it at level 1. Fury is deadly against monsters with the Taunt ability because it does double damage to them, which makes it easier to eliminate them.

Weaken: This ability deducts -1 health from all the opponent team.

Magic Reflect: It returns 50% of the damage done to it by any magic monsters.

What I love most about this monster is the Fury ability and its 5 magic power.

I was paired with Gamer08 in a 3-rule set. which are:

Four's a crowd: The logo is self-explanatory; only 4 units can be used, nothing more than that is allowed.

Born Again: All units have the rebirth ability, which allows them to resurrect once when they are eliminated.

Fire & Regret: All units have return fire ability, which makes using range monsters in this battle a no, because this rule affects them.

Only the Earth and Death Splinter were available, with no idea of what the opponent would use, I went for the Death Splinter, using Lorkus to summon heavy attackers and not forgetting to use a monster with Taunt as well to take the damage from the opponent.

One thing I am sure I would never do is use Heloise the Hollow in any battles where there is reborn rule, this rule put the team with Heloise at a big disadvantage cos even if Heloise was successful in eliminating the opponent with its spite, they will resurrect while the monster that Heloise siphon his health is already weary, even if those monsters get resurrected, they won't be able to do much damage cos of the weariness.

The moment the opponent team was revealed and I saw Heloise, I knew it was a lost battle for him. I have tried it in the past and it ended in tears.

My formation

Bellowmancer was my tank; it is also a monster with the taunt ability, so all the opponent monsters will target it, and that works the way I wanted it, my second monster was Barashkukor, the taunt killer, and its one attack always send the opponent Heloise to the grave cos it is literally hitting Heloise with +12 magic attack.

Kelan Gaines was my third monster and one of my best fighters; it killed Heloise many times, and it also died once but was resurrected. My last monster was Arachne Weaver and I used it so it can supply health to the other monsters in the team.

It was a flawless victory, and the mistake of the opponent was using Heloise the hollow in such a ruleset.
