In a previous article, I shared my humble beginnings with the game Rising Star. Now, I'm sharing my activation of the most popular game on the Hive Blockchain, Splinterlands. I'm buying the Magic Book and opening it. Honestly, I'm excited to take on this game, as you can see in the images. I chose the Hive currency for purchase, and the specified amount is 44. 542, which is equivalent to ten dollars. The amount of Hive tokens may seem a bit high, due to its recent price drop.
The purchase was successful, and the Magic Book was opened. It was an exciting time. I received 3,000 dec coins, the in-game currency, as you can see. I will benefit from the rewards for 30 days of play.

I received 5 chests, which I will open. You can see the cards I received.

I received 25 cards, 3 of which were duplicates. They all looked normal.

Then I followed the game plan, which is a tutorial series you can find in-game for beginners. With each stage you pass, you earn a card, enabling you to play battles later. I passed the stages and earned additional cards.

And here I am, winning my first battle... lol. I await your congratulations 😅 .
