My weekly pack opening in Splinterlands: 50 Chaos Legion packs

Splinterlands, oh Splinterlands!!! When I feel the need for some adrenaline and thrilling I always come back to you and open new packs in the hunt for a Gold Legendary Foil and more. It has passed about a week from my last pack reveal, so I am coming back with another chunk of 50 Chaos Legion packs opened. Actually there will be 51 packs as I found another pack gathering dust in my collection, a pack that I've won on a contest in the old days. So maybe that's the one hiding the most precious card that is yet to come my way. So let's just move to open some new decks and see what we get out of them.

Full of hope and with some excitement at the horizon, let's dive in. Will this day be better than other openings or not, only time will tell... about few seconds until I push the Reveal all button. Here we go!

Draw 1

The first draw didn't bring any Legendary foils, thus I would call it mediocre. Still it has some good cards like a Rare Gold Foil (Djinn Apprentice) and an Epic card (Hunter Jarx) and that's about it. My favorite formations in the game are Water and Death, so nothing exciting for those that could strengthen my formations. Maybe I will have more luck with the next draws.

Draw 2

The second draw was better, but still no Legendary foil in it. I feel like this is not my day for opening packs as my luck is hiding somewhere. But there are still some goodies in the form of Epic cards (Magi Necrosi, Igor Darkspear and Insidious Warlock) one of which is even Gold foil (Igor Darkspear). I also got three Archons (General Sloan) which helps with the pain. Let's see if we find where the luck is hiding in the next draw.

Draw 3

The third draw finally got me some Legendaries (2x Legionnaire Alvar) even if these are not Gold Foils. Besides this I can mention an Epic card (Acid Shooter), two Common Gold foils (Hill Giant and Scavo Hireling) and a Rare card that I play it quite often (Mycelic Slipspawn). Nothing crazy with this draw either, but the hope is still there... somewhere. 😆

Draw 4

The forth draw got me better feelings about today's packs opening, even if I am not thrilled about. I got another Legendary card (Grum Flameblade), but the thing that got me excited is the number of Archons that I got: two Rare Obsidian, two Rare Kelya Frendul and two Rare Tarsa. Alongside these also some Epic cards came my way: Prismologist and Dax Paragon. Hopeful draw, this one!

Draw 5

The fifth draw continued in the same sentiment, without anything extraordinary or spectacular. Two Epic cards (Grund and Magi of Chaos), alongside a Rare Archon (Thaddris Brood), concluded today's revealing.

Not my best day for opening packs which I think was dominated by Epic cards. Few Legendary cards (too fee in my opinion) and some Archons came to alleviate the pain out of it. In the same time I know I cannot win every time and I think in the past I got quite good draws with a lot of Legendaries. So let today draws balance the things and strike me better next time where I am still dreaming about a Gold Legendary foil. The hunt continues and with that my warriors get leveled up and they are more powerful on the battlefields. And with that more Splintershards (SPS) should come my way, which is what I am ultimately fighting for. Cheers and hear you in about one week with another 50 packs opening (out of 450 remaining)!
