Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Winning with Target Practice Ruleset

Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. This week we have a new topic that follows the theme "Share and dive deep into your favorite—or most feared—rulesets and show how you adapt, counter, and conquer when chaos hits the battlefield!". I will share my opinion about that with you. Without much ado, we can dive into the topic straight away.

It's a new week, and I am excited to write again to participate in the Social Media Challenge. Today, I will share a post showcasing one of the modern format battles. It's fantastic, and I would like you all to watch it. This was a Modern Format battle from the Ranked Battles, and I won it. I learned some lessons from it, so I am sharing them with you all.

The battle lasted four rounds; the ruleset was TARGET PRACTICE. It was an interesting battle. It was a 38-mana condition battle with all six elements active to choose from: Earth, Dragon, Life, Water, Death and Fire. I had six monsters in my team lineup, and my opponent also had six monsters in their team lineup.

The NOMOS summoner was used, and it is a Rebellion card with two special abilities it offers: -2 magic attacks to two units on my opponent's team or 2 dispel to two units on my opponent's team. My card is a level 1, and this summoner's mana cost is 5. It is a Fire element summoner.

The first place in my team lineup was the ULUNDIN OVERSEER, an 11-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has melee attack damage, 0 attack, 12 health, five armor protection, and 1 speed. It is a level-one monster and has a melee attack. It is a level 1 monster and possesses the Flank ability.

The second-place monster in my team lineup was the NALARA GEINEK, a 9-mana-cost monster with the amplify ability. It has magic attack damage, 1 magic attack, 9 health, three armor protection, and 3 speed. It is a level-one monster and has a magic attack.

The third-place monster in my team lineup was the BARON FYATT, a 5-mana-cost monster with two unique ability. It has magic attack damage, zero attack, 6 health, zero armor protection, and 2 speed. It is a level three monster and has no magic attack. The Halving ability gives it the chance to reduce half the attack power of an opponent's monster. The Scattershot ability allows it to attack randomly to my opponent's team.

The fourth-place monster in my team lineup was the TORCH VIZIER, a 5-mana-cost monster with one ability. It has melee attack damage, 2 melee attack, 4 health, zero armor protection, and 4 speed. It is a level-one monster and has a melee attack. It has the opportunity ability, which helps it to attack the least health monster in my opponent's team lineup.

The fifth-place monster in my team lineup was the GOBALANO SOLDIER, a 3-mana-cost monster with two abilities. It has melee attack damage, one attack, 2 health, zero armor protection, and 3 speed. It is a level-one monster and has no attack. It has the Sneak and Ambush abilities.

I won this battle in four rounds, and only one of my team members was eliminated. My first expectation was that I couldn't win this battle, but once I eliminated the first monster on my opponent's team lineup, I felt a surge of confidence.

Excellent strategy, my friend abu78. I normally rely on units that have healing or are immune to healing to deal with these battles, but you've shown me that Scavenger is a worthwhile option. Best regards.
