Hola querido hiver.

Según el calendario llevamos casi un mes de otoño. Sin embargo, en España hemos prolongado el verano hasta ahora y, aunque si me dan a elegir prefiero la época estival, ya había ganas de que refrescase.

Hace un par de noches llovió un poco, pero fue tan escaso que por la mañana el único rastro que había quedado era algo de olor a tierra mojada.

Cuando hoy me he levantado y he visto el suelo mojado y algunas gotas despistadas cayendo todavía de las nubes, he abierto la ventana y he aspirado bien fuerte el aire. La previsión de lluvia se había cumplido y por fin la temperatura era la normal para estas alturas del año.

Como estos caracoles, he salido a la calle con un ánimo diferente, con la sensación de que la naturaleza encontró algo de equilibrio en medio del caos que a todos nos altera.

Estos babosos amigos nos enseñan a saber movernos cuando toca, permaneciendo en reserva a la espera de nuestro momento. Su caminar lento y arrastrado por el suelo no les impide llegar hasta donde desean, incluso si tienen que encaramarse a un árbol.

Con ellos doy la bienvenida, ahora sí, a las chaquetas y mangas largas, a mantener las ventanas de la casa cerradas y a aprovechar cada rato de sol para calentar los huesos. Hola, otoño.

According to the calendar, we have been in autumn for almost a month now. However, in Spain we have prolonged the summer until now and, although if I had to choose, I would prefer the summer season, I was looking forward to cooler weather.

A couple of nights ago it rained a little, but it was so light that in the morning the only trace that remained was the smell of wet earth.

When I woke up today and saw the wet ground and a few stray drops still falling from the clouds, I opened the window and breathed in the air. The rain forecast had come true and the temperature was finally normal for this time of the year.

Like these snails, I went out into the street in a different mood, with the feeling that nature had found some balance in the midst of the chaos that disturbs us all.

These slimy friends teach us to know how to move when it's time to move, remaining in reserve, waiting for our moment. Their slow, shuffling walk on the ground doesn't stop them from getting where they want to go, even if they have to climb a tree.

With them I welcome, now yes, jackets and long sleeves, keeping the windows of the house closed and taking advantage of every bit of sunshine to warm the bones. Hello, autumn.
