Hola querido hiver.
Era una tarde del mes de diciembre. Había quedado con unas amigas para visitar el mercadillo navideño y llegué con bastante tiempo de antelación para hacer un recado previo. Al terminar más pronto de lo esperado me encontré con más de una hora libre en un día con espesa niebla que enfriaba hasta los huesos.
Recordé que había cerca un centro cultural en el que casi siempre se encuentra alguna exposición interesante. Era perfecto para estar entretenida y caliente al mismo tiempo, por lo que allí me encaminé. Lo que encontré es lo que aquí te comparto.
Cuando vi los colores llamativos y las formas sencillas pero sugerentes no pude más que disponerme a disfrutar de las obras de arte.
El cartel introductorio de la exposición, titulada Ande o no ande indicaba que los artífices eran el grupo artístico Andar de Nones. Era la primera vez que sabía de ellos. Definían estas pinturas como un caos controlado que es fascinante de contemplar en formato gigante. Y, para mí, tienen razón.
Su caballo cósmico, así llaman a este simpático amigo, te invita a que aprendas más sobre estos artistas en un audiovisual del que tomé algunas fotos.
En él aparece el nombre de todos los artistas y podemos verles trabajando en sus obras. Lo que vemos en las paredes es una combinación de ideas sorprendente, ya que son obras grupales.
¿Te han gustado? Pues te cuento algo más: el proyecto Andar de Nones favorece el desarrollo artístico de personas con diversidad psíquica mediante talleres puramente creativos, alejándose de los fines terapéuticos y ocupacionales. Los artistas cuyas obras acabas de disfrutar son personas con discapacidad intelectual que dan rienda suelta a lo que les sale de dentro sin buscar más allá que su propia expresión. Eso es el arte.

Hi, dear hiver.
It was an afternoon in December. I’d arranged to meet some friends to visit the Christmas market, and I arrived well ahead of time to run an errand first. As I finished earlier than expected, I found myself with over an hour to spare on a day with thick fog that chilled me to the bone.
I remembered there was a cultural centre nearby where there’s almost always an interesting exhibition. It was perfect for keeping me entertained and warm at the same time, so off I went. What I found is what I’m sharing with you here.
When I saw the striking colours and the simple yet evocative shapes, I couldn’t help but sit back and enjoy the works of art.
The introductory poster for the exhibition, entitled Ande o no ande (tr: Whether it works or not), stated that the creators were the art group Andar de Nones. It was the first time I’d heard of them. They described these paintings as a controlled chaos that is fascinating to behold in giant format. And, as far as I’m concerned, they’re right.
His cosmic horse – that’s what they call this friendly chap – invites you to learn more about these artists in an audiovisual presentation, of which I took a few photos.
It features the names of all the artists and shows them working on their pieces. What we see on the walls is a surprising combination of ideas, as these are collaborative works.
Did you like them? Well, let me tell you a bit more: the Andar de Nones project promotes the artistic development of people with intellectual disabilities through purely creative workshops, moving away from therapeutic and occupational aims. The artists whose works you have just enjoyed are people with intellectual disabilities who give free rein to whatever comes from within, seeking nothing more than their own expression. That is art.

Lo primero que sentí al ver tu publicación es que eran obras relacionadas con la salud mental, antes de saber el contexto en el que se realiza. Tu publicación me llevó a un pasado bastante cercano, 2 años atrás, sobre todo cuando vi la tercera imagen. Me recordó alguien que lamentablemente decidió alejarse y todavía me duele 💔😥😭 es bipolar y entiendo el motivo del alejamiento. Sus obras de arte son similares, aunque tiene variedad, la mayoría tiene el común denominador del "ruido visual" y paleta de colores no feliz, obviamente son representaciones de situaciones muy personales. El arte relacionado con la diversidad psíquica especialmente cuando conoces a quien lo hizo y conoces sus dolores y conflictos se aprecia diferente y por lo visto sucede igual al ver el de otras personas con situaciones de salud mental similares o diferentes, porque ya se experimentó de cerca.
El arte siempre transmite y genera emociones en quien lo ve pero el arte de neurodivergentes es otro nivel, con más potencia en ese propósito, aunque se le diga Arte Bruto.
Yo que soy diseñadora y el arte está muy relacionado con el diseño experimento con mis intentos de "obras de arte" (digitales) para relajarme y claro según el momento que esté atravesando mi vida es el resultado y puedo decirte que cuanto peor me sentí, mejor lo que hice 😵 debe ser porque las emociones están intensificadas.
Me voy triste de tu publicación💔 pero lo importante es que se conozca el propósito de este arte 👏👏👏
Ay, lamento que mi publicación te haya recordado esa experiencia dolorosa. Tuve una amiga en la universidad que debutó entonces su trastorno bipolar, lo pasamos muy mal con y por ella. Es una patología difícil de controlar y no siempre dan con un buen tratamiento.
Ambas estudiábamos terapia ocupacional y yo he trabajado con personas con daño cerebral, lo que casi siempre va acompañado de problemas psicológicos. He usado el arte aunque en su vertiente ocupacional, nunca se me ocurrió que podía utilizarse como arte bruto. Por cierto, aunque la expresión suena mal me parece un arte muy puro y que transmite con fuerza. Que no esté en los museos no le resta un ápice de su mérito.
Es curioso que asociemos el arte al sufrimiento, en teoría es un mito pero la verdad es que mi experiencia personal coincide contigo, también me parece que cuando me desahogo sin pensar es cuando mejor saco lo que llevo dentro.
Por cierto, @enraizar en su comentario destacó la misma obra que tú, y él es psicólogo. Siempre digo que no creo en las casualidades. 😁 Te recomiendo que mires su blog, sé que te gustará lo que publica.

No sé si disfrutaste la exposición tanto como los artistas al crear sus obras. Los cuadros azules parecen decirnos que ellos nos miran cuando los vemos.
Creo que se la pasaron en grande cuando crearon estas obras, en especial el perro alebrije, así que, como reza el dicho: Barco grande, ande o no ande.

En Venezuela, en realidad, se refiere al carro por el automóvil, pero con lo difícil que resulta encontrar donde estacionar, ya no se usa.
Creo que estamos creciendo y no le damos tanta importancia al tamaño, sino a la funcionalidad.

Buenas tardes Paloma, realmente sorprendente esta obra colectiva. Hay una obre que particularmente me ha puesto los pelos de punta. Me parece una colección con mas verdad que muchas de las exposiciones de "artistas" profesionales de aparecen por Madrid. Gracias por compartirla.

Eso es lo que sentí entonces y he vuelto a sentir preparando el post. Estos cuadros son la suma de muchas vidas y el haber estado vinculada al mundo de la discapacidad hace que me lleguen más adentro como profesional y como persona. Solo espero que los artistas hayan sido felices realizándola, así se les veía en el audiovisual. 🤗

El proyecto es una preciosidad. Como terapeuta ocupacional pensaba que usaban el arte como terapia, yo lo hacía con mis pacientes, pero al investigar sobre el proyecto descubrí que no, que es su expresión libre y me pareció genial.
